This is a very well-designed attractive villa. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and layout. We were both impressed by the tasteful decorative touches from the dried flowers to tile mosaics on the walls. An example of the design is the large built in closets in the upstairs bedrooms. I have never stayed in a rental with as much closet and drawer space. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beds were all comfortable. The villa is spacious both in the grounds and inside. Where some may have been tempted to have 4 or 5 bedrooms, the 3 good sized bedroom and large living areas given a certain dignity and sense of spaciousness. The kitchen was well equipped as far as pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The appliances all worked.
There was a beautiful view of the valley from this hillside location from both inside the villa and the outside terraces and pool deck. One can see Alvor, Lagos and Portimao along the coast and amazing twinkling lights at night time. The villa and around the pool deck is very private. The villa is set well back from the road down a steep dead end lane and so no passing traffic. The location gives a sense of peacefulness.
We walked into the lovely town of Monchique a few times and also ate at the nice restaurant at the top of the lane - O Luar da Foia, rated highly in Tripadvisor. You need to be reasonably fit given the road is steep. Monchique has a large modern InterMarche supermarket and some smaller grocery stores and butcher shops. There are also a number of pleasant cafes. There is a large shopping mall in Portimao. A car is recommended. If you have one, the villa makes a good base for exploring the region.
The west coast is about 30 min away by secondary road, while Portimao and the A22 main tollway is about 15 min south. We went as far as Odeceixe in the north west. Despite the weather during or stay in November, we were able to use the pool a bit when the sun was shining. We would not hesitate to rent from Nigel again. He was easy to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions. Given its high quality, the villa is a real bargain in the low and shoulder season. Highly recommend it.-TripAdvisor

This is a very well-designed attractive villa. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and layout. We were both impressed by the tasteful decorative touches from the dried flowers to tile mosaics on the walls. An example of the design is the large built in closets in the upstairs bedrooms. I have never stayed in a rental with as much closet and drawer space. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beds were all comfortable. The villa is spacious both in the grounds and inside. Where some may have been tempted to have 4 or 5 bedrooms, the 3 good sized bedroom and large living areas given a certain dignity and sense of spaciousness. The kitchen was well equipped as far as pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The appliances all worked.
There was a beautiful view of the valley from this hillside location from both inside the villa and the outside terraces and pool deck. One can see Alvor, Lagos and Portimao along the coast and amazing twinkling lights at night time. The villa and around the pool deck is very private. The villa is set well back from the road down a steep dead end lane and so no passing traffic. The location gives a sense of peacefulness.
We walked into the lovely town of Monchique a few times and also ate at the nice restaurant at the top of the lane - O Luar da Foia, rated highly in Tripadvisor. You need to be reasonably fit given the road is steep. Monchique has a large modern InterMarche supermarket and some smaller grocery stores and butcher shops. There are also a number of pleasant cafes. There is a large shopping mall in Portimao. A car is recommended. If you have one, the villa makes a good base for exploring the region.
The west coast is about 30 min away by secondary road, while Portimao and the A22 main tollway is about 15 min south. We went as far as Odeceixe in the north west. Despite the weather during or stay in November, we were able to use the pool a bit when the sun was shining. We would not hesitate to rent from Nigel again. He was easy to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions. Given its high quality, the villa is a real bargain in the low and shoulder season. Highly recommend it.-TripAdvisor

RCI is the biggest exchange system (timeshare) in the world, they have 4,000 resorts worldwide and you can book them using your points. The nice thing about points is that you are not limited to only booking a week; you can book individual days all the way up to 21 nights for one transaction fee. 7Across – is another exchange system, however they trade a week for a week. How you would do that is book a week through RCI at Paradise Canyon (recommend November week). Now that you own a physical week at your home resort you can trade it with 7Across and they give you a week that can be booked anytime of the year and is good for 3 years. Our lovely villa apartment is located in the beautiful Sea Palms Resort, which is on the seaside in Tower Isle, Jamaica. This is the perfect place to simply relax and unwind! We're close to almost all of the famous tourist attractions, yet our location a short drive east of the town of Ocho Rios is in a very peaceful, secure and serene setting - right on the sea surrounded by expansive manicured lawns, tropical plants and swaying palm trees. Our gated development has its own private white sand beach and large swimming pool, and we also have 24-hour security.
This apartment consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans. The master has an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, wall safe, comfortable king-size bed, and a Smart TV. The second bedroom also has a comfortable queen-size bed, Smart TV, and the bathroom is adjacent to it. There is a spacious dining area/living room with two ceiling fans, a Smart TV (with Amazon Prime and cable), and a stereo. The modern kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, microwave, toaster oven, coffee and panini makers, blender, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc.
You can eat in the dining area or outside on our large covered veranda. Relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, you will enjoy the expansive tropical gardens and sea view. We offer high speed internet, in addition to a telephone which will allow you a short call home to Canada as well as local calls within Jamaica. Since the apartment is on the first floor, you simply walk straight from the veranda to access the pool and beach. Parking is right at your doorstep, and you can walk to several restaurants and a grocery store which are located close by. We are lately known as the "Epicurean Epicenter of Jamaica" since three of the island's finest restaurants are just steps away.
We will rent the villa as either a one bedroom for up to two guests at the rate of US$150 per night, or as a two bedroom for up to four guests at the nightly rate of US$230; holiday surcharges may apply. The minimum rental period is normally for two nights except for holidays where it is three night's minimum. Monthly rates are also available, including winter season! Our housekeeper will cook and clean at an additional charge.
