Luckystone Sound is a private luxury vacation home on the shore of Lake Erie adjacent a long stretch of sandy beach dividing Lake Erie and the Big Creek Watershed- an international birding hotspot near Amherstburg, Ontario.

We are now opening bookings for 2021. Luckystone Sound is the marriage of cottage rental and hotel. It is available for weekly holiday rental and guided birding vacations this season, based on restrictions in place.

Bedroom Two: Queen
Bedroom Three: Double
*there is an additional Queen bedroom in the separate beach house bunkie which may be used with special arrangement

Powder Room: Lower level, convenient two-piece

Towels, soaps, and sundries provided

The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher
Enjoy dining at the informal kitchen bar (seats 8) or at the large dining table in the Great Room
Dishes, utensils, barware and cookware are provided. Kitchen linens and soap are provided.

Great Room: The Great Room is equipped with satellite television, a gas fireplace, comfortable seating, and incredible views. Wifi is accessible throughout.

Enjoy the salt water hot tub, fire pit, and seating areas. Fish right from the lawn, or from one of two stable and family-friendly angler kayaks.

Explore the area by bicycle (2). Luckystone Sound is on the North Shore Wine Route, and is a walk or paddle from Sprucewood Shores Winery.

Birders may access the wetland directly on site, and can view a huge variety of migratory birds from the property. There's plenty to see and do all year round!
