Dispatcher/Quality Control

Job Description:Dispatcher/Quality Control Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher/Quality Control receives, interprets, prioritizes, and facilitates the passage of information from, to, and between internal and external customers by using a variety of information systems such as, but not limited to: 1. Service Fusion Scheduling Program 2. E-mail correspondence 3. Telephone 4. TXT Messaging 5. Quickbooks Online 6. MS Office/Projects The Dispatcher's Responsibilities include the following: 1. Monitoring and updating the Service Fusion system 2. Cataloguing customer specifications and documentation related to dispatches and projects 3. Assigning of the appropriate field resource for the appropriate dispatch/project 4. Tracking Resource Certifications to ensure they are updated 5. Maintaining written and computerized records and filing appropriately 6. Providing communication updates to clients, administration, and sub-contractors 7. Processing work orders once work is complete through Service Fusion 8. Material ordering and Tracking The Quality Control's Responsibilities include the following: 1. Knowledge of the following a. Work Instructions, b. Procedures, c. Processes d. CWB & ASME e. TSBC f. NDE 2. NCR/CAR Administration 3. QC Package Creation 4. Verifying & Filing MTR's 5. Weld Map Creation The Dispatcher/Quality Control provides information to Major Welding's customers if applicable and is the central point of contact for contractors and clients to review reported information related to activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receives, interprets, prioritizes, and assigns service orders and dispatches to the appropriate field resource through the Service Fusion system * Catalogues customer service orders, calls, messages, and provides timely response/action in a dynamic continually changing environment * Procures required materials and supplies when required for service orders * Manages similar yet multiple resource types and information systems simultaneously * Transmits and receives information; provides customers timely follow-up regarding activities requested * Assigns activities based on resource competency, skill requirement and proximity to activity location * Creates multiple work orders when required per event to ensure proper financial allocation * Provides customer service functionality during normal working hours * Monitors and updates Service Fusion and all other external communication mechanisms to reflect current-state status of events * Receives dispatches and logs client requested changes as well as unforeseen change orders * Updates systems with information before, during, and after work completion * Performs clerical/administrative routines associated with the position * Provides additional information to customers when required Company Description Major Welding has progressed into a reliable team of experts providing a service to both clients and rig welders.
