Looking for a bassist locally who loves U2 and would be able to quickly fill in for a show in Lethbridge April 1. We had an illness and are in need of a substitute for this show.
You must love U2 and already know the songs. We are playing the hits (see set list at end of post).
You will be given a dropbox shared folder with live versions, practice tracks, and tabs to learn from. If you're in Calgary, it is possible to rehearse as well. We play LIVE VERSIONS exactly as U2 has played them in their shows and NOT the studio versions. We are all on an IEM and a click.
We are open to bassists from anywhere. Our show has been around 12 years and have successfully played shows across Canada and the USA so future gig opportunities also come from this.

I am a responsible single mother of a 2 year old son, going to college to prepare for our futures. Non-smoking, not a partier, clean. I can afford up to 1000$ per month and am seeking a space to live with 1 bedroom, would prefer 2 bedrooms but I know that is likely outside of my budget. A place with a bathtub would be appreciated. Hello. I'm wondering if there might be a generous soul out there willing to donate their unused vehicle to my family of 6. I was recently struck by a drunk, uninsured and suspended driver in the early hours of the morning on my way to work and due to having low income I am always only able to afford basic plpd insurance which does not cover my vehicle repair cost, so I'm left with a written off vehicle and a 300 dollar tow bill and now on the verge of loosing my job if I cannot find transportation.
It really seems to be one thing after another lately, we have been extremely stressed and torn apart by these circumstances which is greatly affecting the happiness of my family
If anybody would be willing to help ease the pain of everyday living which shouldn't be so difficult, please, our family could really use the support.
