I have so many points available that I’m offering vacations at my cost. There is an exchange fee since I don’t own at this resort (I own at its sister resort), along with the name change cost ($100) and the value of the points, but I can get you a full week in a 2 bedroom gold crown resort with a full kitchen for less than $1000 (all in, no extra costs; sometimes it’s as cheap as $600! All depends on your dates).
Let me know if you’re interested! Parkway has free regular shuttles to the grocery store and to the Disney park! It’s our favourite place and we’ve been (I have a now 14 year old) over a couple dozen times. Vegas has the gold crown we always go to too, Grandview at Las Vegas (right beside the SouthPointe). Both of these resorts are sister resorts to the one I own (‘vacation village’ family) so exchange fees are cheaper. Both are also good crowns (the best of the best through RCI). Grandview (Las Vegas) has free parking too and has a city transit bus stop in front that takes you first to the south outlet mall where you jump off and transfer to go straight to the strip ($5 for 24hrs!). It’s a 15 min bus ride tops. They also have shuttles but the shuttles to the strip but I don’t believe they are free anymore ($10 perhaps?). Having said that, shuttles to the grocery store are free (for your full kitchen!). Shoot me a message and I’ll answer any questions you have! (SouthPoint, next door to Grandview in Las Vegas, has a movie theater, bowling alley, HUGE casino and so many places to eat!). Our two favorite resorts. No timeshare presentation needed! This is a very well-designed attractive villa. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and layout. We were both impressed by the tasteful decorative touches from the dried flowers to tile mosaics on the walls. An example of the design is the large built in closets in the upstairs bedrooms. I have never stayed in a rental with as much closet and drawer space. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beds were all comfortable. The villa is spacious both in the grounds and inside. Where some may have been tempted to have 4 or 5 bedrooms, the 3 good sized bedroom and large living areas given a certain dignity and sense of spaciousness. The kitchen was well equipped as far as pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The appliances all worked.
There was a beautiful view of the valley from this hillside location from both inside the villa and the outside terraces and pool deck. One can see Alvor, Lagos and Portimao along the coast and amazing twinkling lights at night time. The villa and around the pool deck is very private. The villa is set well back from the road down a steep dead end lane and so no passing traffic. The location gives a sense of peacefulness.
We walked into the lovely town of Monchique a few times and also ate at the nice restaurant at the top of the lane - O Luar da Foia, rated highly in Tripadvisor. You need to be reasonably fit given the road is steep. Monchique has a large modern InterMarche supermarket and some smaller grocery stores and butcher shops. There are also a number of pleasant cafes. There is a large shopping mall in Portimao. A car is recommended. If you have one, the villa makes a good base for exploring the region.
The west coast is about 30 min away by secondary road, while Portimao and the A22 main tollway is about 15 min south. We went as far as Odeceixe in the north west. Despite the weather during or stay in November, we were able to use the pool a bit when the sun was shining. We would not hesitate to rent from Nigel again. He was easy to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions. Given its high quality, the villa is a real bargain in the low and shoulder season. Highly recommend it.-TripAdvisor

Description du quartier
Quartier de bord de mer tranquille. La rue sur le côté de la maison mène directement à la plage. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture. C'est à 300m.Vue panoramique sur les montagnes et un énorme jardin aménagé avec piscine de 13 000 pc (1300 mc) . On se sent à la campagne tout en étant proche de plusieurs restaurants, bars, etc. Une belle rivière et sa végétation luxuriante, juste derrière la maison, nous donne l'impression d'être dans les Caraibes.
Nous sommes située entre Oliva et Denia
La rue qui borde la plage est très vivante sans être trop dans la zone touristique. Il y a plusieurs restaurants. L'été un autobus passe à toutes les heures (un peu moins souvent hors saison). Il est donc possible de visiter les différentes plages, et sites touristiques jusqu'à Denia.
Nous sommes à quelques kilomètres de Denia choisie par l’U.N.E.S.C.O. "Ville Créative de la Gastronomie". Ces plats succulents peuvent être dégustés dans les plus de 300 restaurants de la ville, qui élaborent également une grande variété de recettes de la cuisine locale, nationale et internationale.
