2006 Okanagan 117DBL
2002 F350 Lariat Diesel 4x4
This camper I used for 46 months on 3 different jobs up north, so it's well used. Everything works, no cracked windows or tears in the upholstery, the heater is amazing. Brand new it would cost around $100K. Also a 23" TV. If you can look past that it's been 20 years sitting out in the elements you are getting an awesome camper. When I finally clean it out I never seen any water stains, so their are no leaks. It does have a new 100AH battery. If you google 2006 Okanagan 117DBL you will sites that have better pictures of this unit. You DO NEED a 1 Ton truck to carry this 2T camper.
The truck is the top of line 2002 F350 when it was new, it is as solid as they come. The motor is a 7.3L diesel with 263,000 km, it's bullet proof. In the one ton world they say it will get around 600,000 km before you will need to start thinking about rebuilding the engine. The alternator I replaced 5 years ago and the turbo I had replaced 1 year ago, it does have 2 new batterys as that is what is required to turn the motor over and they have to be at least 900CC. It too is older and you will be replacing compontents as it keep getting older. I expect the brakes line will be going next, but for a $1000 repair you are getting a $110K 1Ton if it was new. It does have 2 leather patches on the seats, I'm rather pleased on how well it bonded to the seats. It's fully loaded, rust free as it's from Alberta. You do need a 1 ton for this 2 ton camper, a 450 would be best but if you put on a set of helper leaf springs it's the same, which it has. And you need 1/4" belly bars to hold it down, which it also has. If you are looking for something new for used prices I know of a few dealerships you could go to but if you are looking for a unit that have been proved itself this is the one for you but you got to keep up on your yearly maintenance. All in all for $27,500 you are getting a unit that would cost around $210,000 today if it was new. You DO NEED a 1T truck to carry this unit. $20k for camper only
