I've heard the legendary reputation of the Acadian as hospitable people and I also recently discovered that I am a descendant. I came in the area to contact you, whether you are Metis, Mi'kmaq or Acadian, man or woman does not matter to me although I have a preference for a woman at first if it is possible.
We could start with mi'kmaq pow wow and acadian festivals
I am perfectly bilingual. I consider all French regionalism as good French, although I do not pretend to understand everything for now. I can eventually act as an interpreter between the Mi'kmaq Nation and Acadian. I am very familiar with the work of the historian and Mi'kmaq Elder Daniel N. Paul and I understand so well the historical trauma that caused the language barrier of today because the Acadian knew the Mi'kmaq as their second language while the Mi'kmaq knew French as their second language reciprocally. I am fully aware of what trauma does to you with my experience and training indeed.
p.s. the zip code is approximate
