For 2024, we’re introducing a new tech pairing that has never been seen before on a 5 oz. fine silver coin. Struck incuse, the maple leaf on your coin’s reverse radiates a brilliant shine that is amplified by the black rhodium plated field, which repeats on the obverse. Look closely, and you’ll notice laser-engraved maple leaves are scattered throughout the field. They’re easy to miss, because the dark background alters the way the light reflects off the coin’s surface, grabbing your attention and focusing it on the shiny, incused maple leaf that proudly symbolizes Canada.
This incused maple leaf shines brightly against a black rhodium field.
Special features
- A modern classic. Your coin features an incuse strike and a black rhodium plated field—a new tech pairing not seen before on a 5 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin.
- Black rhodium plating. For maximum contrast, black rhodium plating fills the field on both sides of the coin. The effigy on the obverse and the maple leaf on the reverse offer the only glimpses of the coin’s shiny silver surface.
- A sellout every year. The combination of a classically Canadian design and modern engraving technologies makes our Maple Leaves in Motion coin a popular annual issue—in fact, it has sold out every year since the series began.
- Low mintage. Only 2,000 coins are available to collectors worldwide.
- Includes serialized certificate. The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collector coins.
- No GST/HST.
Packaging
Your coin is encapsulated and carefully enclosed in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded red wood lacquered case, which comes packaged in a black beauty box.

Product Description
From the moment he was elected into the papacy, Pope Francis has captured the attention of the world with his humility, charisma, and reformist spirit. This one-of-a-kind, illustrated biography of the first Jesuit pope offers more than 250 photographs and 50 removable documents from Francis's life. Written by Vatican Radio reporter Marie Duhamel, this intimate portrait includes his parents emigration from Italy, his birth as Jorge Mario Bergoglio in 1936, his love of soccer and opera as a child, the pneumonia that nearly cost him his life as a young adult, his calling to the priesthood, and his first encounter with poverty as a missionary in Chile that would change his life. Duhamel chronicles Francis's rise from priest to bishop to cardinal to the papacy and how, along the way, he impressed many people-and alienated some-with his courage to stand up to authority and his dedication to helping the poor.
Enclosed documents such as his baptism certificate, photographs from his childhood, pages from a school notebook, handwritten notes as pope, and even a support card for his beloved San Lorenzo soccer club, further illuminate his life and create a lasting keepsake of this pope of the people.
About the Author
Marie Duhamel has been a journalist for Radio Vatican since 2007. She previously worked for Radio France and RAI 3. She speaks French, Italian, and English.

Hi, here's a rare and unique piece of Hollywood movie memorabilia. Perfect for the lover of westerns, cowboy or outlaw pictures. This is an original movie theater poster, (27" by 41"). It advertises the 1957 theatrical exhibition of the Paramount Picture, VistaVision film, "The Lonely Man". This classic film starred Oscar winning actor Jack Palance (Batman -1989, City Slickers, Shane); Anthony Perkins (Psycho, Friendly Persuasion, Pretty Poison); Neville Brand (Stalag 17, Cahill US Marshall) and Robert Middleton (The Proud Ones, Posse from Hell). The movie theater poster features interesting, stark artwork of the film's stars. This vintage movie theater poster is NOT a recent DVD/video poster or reproduction. It is NOT a commercial knockoff or copy of any kind. This movie theater poster is 100% authentic and it actually dates from 1957. It is 62 years old! This rare and unique collectible shows some signs of theater use/display and is in the Very Good to Fine condition range with bright colors and very clean paper for its age. There is some wrting on the back to advertise another movie. A small bit of this writing bleeds through to the front but you have to look for it. This rare and vintage movie theater poster would make a very cool addition to someone's collection, a great conversation piece and a wonderful decoration for a home theater, hobby room, recreation room, office or man cave wall. It is sold as is from one collector to another. All sales final. Please take a look at my other 100% original movie theater posters for sale. There's something for every taste and every budget.

A brief history of vintage movie theater posters. What all serious movie poster collectors should know. From the 1890's until the early 1990's the majority of movie theater posters were folded for shipping to movie theaters. Only lobby cards and window card posters were not normally folded, (folds on those two poster sizes are considered by collectors to be defects and affect their eventual value). The folds on other vintage movie theater posters, (i.e. one sheet, half sheet, insert, 3 sheet, 6 sheet and 24 sheet, etc.) are not considered a defect in themselves. In fact those size posters were folded soon after they came off the printing press. It is only when their folds have separated or paper loss has occurred from continually opening and closing the poster that it becomes a factor in condition and pricing. It is extremely important to know that vintage movie posters were never made for the general public's use. They were made to be used solely by the movie theater and then returned to a poster exchange for a credit or return deposit. Over the years most were returned to the poster exchanges, lost or destroyed in paper recycling drives, (especially during WWII). Vintage movie theater posters were made to be disposable and not considered as souvenirs or collectibles. Printed in very low numbers, (estimated at 3,000 to 8,000 copies per film title); and not by the tens or hundreds of thousands or even millions like comic books, gum cards or other items made for the general public's consumption. It is estimated that for most films in the 1910's to 1970's that no more than 8,000 one sheet size posters were issued for most Hollywood films in the USA. These same posters were used in Canada, as we were considered an extension of the American market. Over the years, vintage movie theater posters that survived in private hands usually have signs of theater use, (such as, pin holes, fold wear, stains, tape, etc.) and these things along with rarity, film title, star, and other factors enter into pricing. Vintage movie theater posters that survived with little to no wear usually bring a premium price from collectors. Around the early 1990's most movie theater posters were now shipped rolled, they were also being made in larger numbers, often as licensed products by many different printing companies. Hollywood saw the collectible popularity of their movie posters and finally decided to cash in on a part of the market that they had been missing out on. DVD and video posters are a different product printed by the millions and distributed to corner stores, drug stores, grocery stores, video stores, department stores and poster distributors everywhere; almost any place where DVDs and videos were sold, rented, leased or distributed. Made in major abundance DVD/video posters were made to be mass distributed in a completely different manner than the traditional vintage movie theater poster and to date DVD/video posters have not acquired a substantial collectible value and that may take years to come.*******************************

Hi, here's a very rare, unique and great piece of Hollywood movie memorabilia. Perfect for the science enthusiast or WWII historian. This is a 100% original, USA made movie poster lobby card (11" x 14"). It advertises a key movie scene from the 1960 Columbia Pictures, scientist biography, "I Aim at the Stars - The Wernher Von Braun Story". This movie theater lobby card is 100% authentic, 59 years old and in superb condition with very little sign of use from movie theater display. This classic film starred Curt Jurgens (The Spy Who Loved Me, Lord Jim, The Enemy Below); Gia Scala (Ride a Crooked Trail); Herbert Lom (Revenge of the Pink Panther, The Phantom of the Opera); Victoria Shaw and James Daly. My photo is of the actual vintage lobby card poster for sale. This is the best lobby card in the set showing the scientist/Dr. at work with monkeys in his lab. He used them in his rocket flight tests. These type of scientifically themed cards are very scarce and very difficult to find, especially in this lovely condition. This piece of vintage movie memorabilia is NOT a recent or cheap video/DVD poster. It is NOT a commercial knockoff. It is NOT a copy and it is NOT a reproduction of any kind. This 1960 lobby card is sold as is from one collector to another and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection, a superb conversation piece and a great decoration for a home theater, recreation room, den, office, man cave, science lab, classroom, etc.. Please take a look at my many other 100% original movie theater posters for sale. Perfect for gift giving for any occasion. If you are a fan of Hollywood's golden age or biographic/science movies, then this 100% original movie theater poster is just right for you!

I have for sale some 1971-72 Toronto Sun NHL Photos Mailing Envelopes these envelopes are 1/2” bigger than the photos, so about 7 1/2” x 5 3/4” . I have 2 versions for sale. Version one (I have 3 of these) is plain with no logo at all (but they have varying degrees of defects). One has a small pen mark in the bottom corner, one is missing the whole flap (looks like it was just ripped open in a hurry) and the last one looks like somebody drew a small map on it. The second version (I have 4 of these) has the Toronto Sun logo in the top left corner (all of these that I have, have a team name written in pen on the back flap), these all have been torn open at the edge of the envelope, leaving the flap intact. I have $15.00 on each of these.
Local pick up only.
