The East Coast Cannabis Substitution Program has been up and running for a year and a half now. We have achieved “not for profit” status, and are set to keep saving lives with cannabis well into 2021.
This program takes a lot of people, doing a lot of work, making up many hours a week, for no money; to help provide infused edibles to people struggling with one addiction or another.
We pass out care packages with infused edibles, so people who otherwise aren’t thinking about food, can also get the nutrition and calories they need to heal, stay warm and be healthy.
We are looking for another volunteer.
This time we are in need of a KIT BUILDER
-Volunteers responsible for assembling the care packages. Duties include bagging edibles, stamping bags, counting, folding, stuffing, organizing, making capsules and more.
This position requires a few days a week (usually between Tuesday and Friday), hours vary.
The work takes place in Lower Sackville. More info to be provided during first meeting.
While the CSP is a lot of work and responsibility, we try and keep the work environment as fun as possible. I don’t want this to ever start to feel like actual “work”. Once it feels like actual “work”, it becomes less enjoyable.
We do this because we love it; not because we have to.
And I believe that’s an important thing to try and remember.
If you’re still interested in volunteering after reading all this, I hope to hear from you. Message me.
