The homeowner’s needs shift and change, but overall there is a cyclical nature to systemic Lyme Disease. She experiences multiple cycles of symptoms. One cycle includes up to two weeks when she is bedridden, cognitive impairment, and needs a higher level of support. Another cycle includes limited movement within the house, physical weakness, and mental health challenges.
