Psychotherapist/Social Worker Job Summary: Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and compassionate therapist with an MSW to join our practice. The successful candidate will provide individual, couples, and family therapy services, using evidence-based practices to treat a variety of mental health concerns. The therapist will work with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of need. If you have high emotional intelligence, you will love working with our team! Psychotherapist/Social Worker Duties and Responsibilities: · Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for clients · Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services · Monitor and evaluate client progress, providing summary letters when required · Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records · Participate in team meetings and case consultations · Maintain the strictest level of confidentiality for each and every client situation · Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed · Maintain required insurance and up-to-date professional resume Psychotherapist/Social Worker Requirements and Qualifications: * Master of Social Work degree or CPRO registration * Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or CPRO * Experience providing therapy services to a diverse client population * Knowledge of evidence-based practices for the treatment of mental health concerns * Strong assessment and treatment planning skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent time-management Benefits: $80,000-100,000 depending upon experience or alternatively a fee for service model Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and community Live in a beautiful place, alongside the vacation area of Prince Edward County.
