Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3/4

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks, trailers, engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
• Maintain tools and area of work in a clean organized fashion.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Journeyperson Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3 or 4
• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication abilities
• Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing needs and take direction
• Possess a strong work ethic and be consistently punctual
• Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent work orders
• Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English
