Estimator / Project Coordinator
Rivers Home Hardware Building Centre – Rivers, MB
We are looking to hire an Estimator / Project Coordinator to support our growing construction and building materials division. This role is ideal for someone with experience in estimating, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from pricing through to completion.
You will play a key role in preparing accurate quotes, coordinating materials, and helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare material takeoffs and estimates for residential and light commercial projects
Work with contractors and customers to build accurate and competitive quotes
Coordinate materials, timelines, and deliveries for ongoing projects
Communicate with suppliers to source pricing and confirm availability
Track project progress and ensure orders are complete and accurate
Assist in managing changes, revisions, and project updates
Support the sales and construction team with pricing and project coordination
Qualifications
Experience in estimating or construction/project coordination is required
Strong understanding of building materials and construction processes
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
Strong communication skills with customers, contractors, and suppliers
Experience with POS, estimating, or inventory systems is an asset
Position Details
Monday to Friday schedule
