Description
The Refrigeration Mechanic is responsible for providing installation, preventive maintenance, service, and repair on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in a commercial and industrial setting while show casing exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
-Servicing new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems
-Troubleshooting issues with all commercial and industrial HVAC / -Refrigeration equipment
-Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes
-Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
-Documenting service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records
-Other duties as assigned

-Knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience & Qualifications:
-Journeyperson certification
-Available for rotating on call shifts
-Experience in supermarket installation and service an asset
-HVAC experience in a commercial or industrial setting
-Gas A is an asset (extra pay included for this ticket)
-Valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 5 year driver's abstract
-Gas or broiler experience is an asset
-Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, Elevated Work Platform, Energy Safety Canada are considered an asset
-BMS or Controls experience is an asset
