Rivers Home Hardware Building Centre is looking to hire a Receiver / Inventory Coordinator to join our team.
This is primarily an office-based position focused on inventory control, purchase orders, and accurate job billing. We are looking for someone detail-oriented who can keep our system clean and organized.
Responsibilities include:
* Entering received inventory into the POS system accurately
* Verifying packing slips against purchase orders and inputting quantities correctly
* Billing materials to the correct jobs and projects
* Creating and sending purchase orders to suppliers
* Tracking orders and following up on outstanding materials
* Maintaining accurate inventory records within the system
* Communicating with yard and office staff to ensure materials are accounted for
* Identifying discrepancies and resolving inventory issues
What we are looking for:
* Strong attention to detail and organization
* Comfortable working on computers and learning POS systems
* Experience in inventory, purchasing, or office administration is an asset
* Knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
