Hey, I'm looking for a band that is focused on gigs/recording and plays heavier music. I have lots of experience and really want to get back in to a band that works hard.
I have my own wheels, quality gear, and am willing to drive about an hour or so away for a good band. I would prefer a band that has something started, over starting a band as I'm not interested in being a part of the building process. Though I get that is a possibility.
Not interested in doing cover work, unless it's a step in and play gigs type thing.

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

Hi there,
I’m an experienced female vocalist looking for a Guitarist to accompany my vocals.
The dates are July 1 , July 8 August 5 & Sept 2
Must have live performance experience.
If you can harmonize, great plus.
Must be available to rehearse together.
I recreate covers in my own Jazzy/Soul style.
A guitarist who specializes in Jazz but can play other genres would be ideal.
These 4 gigs are not Jazz gigs but I am in search of the right Jazz guitarist for future upscale Jazz venues.
Pease, please only contact me if you’re professional, punctual and positive.
Check out my website Meauxx.com to see if we’d be a good fit. Thanks,
Meauxx

I'm looking to start to join an original rock band that has a classic rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, blues rock, alt-rock, or southern rock sound. Sounding kinda like AC/DC, The Sheepdogs, Greta Van Fleet, Drive By Truckers, and Neil Young & Crazy Horse. I'm 39, and have been in a few bands and have played around Ontario. I'm a less is more, straight-forward drummer. Meat and potatoes kinda feel. I'm looking for a band, or players, that are dedicated. Between the ages 25 - 45. In Norfolk County, Hamilton/Brantford area, Niagara Region, or Halton Region.

Expert Private INVESTIGATION Investigator Training Course. Accessible Online $125.00
You can take the required 50-hour online private investigator training course at THE ACADEMY OF INVESTIGATIVE STUDIES, which will prepare you to sit for the Ontario P.I. exam and get your personal investigator license. You can start and finish your course at any time. Since we are a recognized training facility, we are qualified to offer the program to anybody looking to get into this flexible, enjoyable, and demanding industry.
Your experienced instructor has 32 years of expertise as a private investigator, working undercover, identifying missing individuals, documenting insurance fraud, conducting surveillance, getting confessions through interviews, monitoring labour conflicts, and more. He's a professional writer with a wicked sense of humour, so the course is well-written and enjoyable.
Please do your research before buying competitors' poorly-written courses. Some are handled by parking lot attendants/supervisors, security guards, and detectives with little industry expertise. Trust an EXPERT investigator with 30 years of expertise. The training will be vital to your success in the field. Don't save a few dollars only to regret it later.
Students receive access to online materials, including embedded training videos, during the 50-hour course. In addition to our online class "forum" and sporadically scheduled online meetings, real-time communication with your instructor is available anytime needed. We will address all of your inquiries regarding the course materials and the business in general.
Students who complete the program successfully are given a Certificate of Completion and an official Training Completion Number (TCN), which they can use to schedule their test. After completing the exam, candidates may submit an application for their Ontario private investigator license.
The course costs $125+HST. Pay and register online.
Interac and Paypal are accepted. For information or to register, visit www.investigatortraining.ca.
We are now offering security guard training.

Hello parents and students,
My name is Ali, and I am a full-time tutor offering online sessions.
The bulk of my tutoring experience is math related, but I do offer services in a variety of subjects (Physics, Sciences, English, etc.).
My approach is to help students understand and master material, rather than just memorize formulas or techniques. I believe that this is a key to long-term success in any subject.
To achieve this, I use a variety of teaching methods and resources in my lessons. This might include interactive investigations, problem-solving exercises, or visual aids such as diagrams or graphs. I also encourage my students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process, this helps them develop a deeper understanding of the subject and makes the learning process more enjoyable.
Knowing that there are different learning styles, I make an effort to tailor my lessons to individual needs and learning styles. For example, if a student is more visual, I might use more diagrams and graphs in my lessons, while if a student is more hands-on, I might use more interactive activities or problem-solving exercises.
Overall, my goal as a tutor is to share my knowledge and expertise in a way that helps learners succeed.
Best wishes,
Ali Rizvi

Hi there! I'm Seb. I am looking to get experience on a sailboat either as a deck hand or in lessons. I'm particularly interested in being aboard a 24-30 ft sloop, something around there but I'm open minded! I am in the Brantford area but can travel to Burlington or Port Dover for example. I have canoeing experience and my PCOC, and am trained in first aid.
Please reach out if you have a sailboat and want to earn some extra cash, need some extra help, or are already running classes.

We have spots open for more music lovers. Join us!!!
Every Monday morning from 10am – 11:30am, a group of adults in their 40s-70s meet for MUSICKING. We sing, we learn percussion instruments, we talk about musical history, and music trivia, we do basic theory, we learn about notes, rhythms, patterns, and how to write a song and we explore genres such as Jazz, Blues, Country, Reggae, Pop, and Rock and Roll.
We belt out well-known hits and learn obscure songs, we explore artists we have never heard about and we discuss our personal favourites and we play the kazoo, or a Cajon, a ukulele and we have all learned how to play a simple song on the piano.
We learn how to breathe properly, and we laugh, we do a LOT of laughing. We also have written two original songs … one a blues ditty and the other a contemporary ballad with RAP!!!
Our MUSICKING class takes place at the Grand River Community Health Centre, in the activity room, located at 363 Colborne Street. It is FREE to attend and ANYone can join. We’re inviting YOU to come and join us and spend a carefree hour of Musical MAGIC.
If you’d like to join us for NOTES and BEATS and become part of our MUSICKING class, please contact Brad Kidder at: BKidder@grchc.ca

I was in contact with Doug Simpson who owned Brantford Aluminum a few years ago regarding work their company did to a 70s townhouse complex in Kitchener. I had a few more questions regarding the work that was done, and sadly came to find he passed away a few years ago and the company no longer exists.
I was hoping if anyone worked for his company if they could help me in answering some of my questions. In particular I was looking for the name of the engineering firm that oversaw the scope of work Brantford Aluminum did on these old townhomes.
