Looking For Casual Jamming Friends

I posted this a long time ago and all I got were offers for guitar lessons and people who wanted to practice for weekend gigs. That is NOT what I am looking for!! I have tinnitus, vision problems and memory issues, so I want to avoid learning anything complicated. What I want is to FEEL the music again...that rush you get from jamming out with like-minded musicians.

I'm old and my skill level is quite basic at this point. I can play simple bass and rhythm guitar for the enjoyment of it. I enjoy a wide range of musical styles, so I don't care what genre we play as long as it's fun....rock, blues, metal, country, folk, bluegrass....it's all good to me! I can jam the range of Wagon Wheel to Enter Sandman...we can even combine songs for interesting results, if you are so inclined...lol

I live in the South Shore area, and not looking to do any city traveling, so prefer the local area. Let me know what you have in mind, thanks!
