Culligan Position: Plumber for our location in Wileville.
Culligan Water is an industry leading water treatment and plumbing company. We have been successfully installing our products since 1936. We are the largest water treatment company in Nova Scotia. This job involves the installation of our water treatment equipment, servicing existing customer equipment and some plumbing specific projects that may include installation of hot water tanks and pressure tanks. Culligan Specific training for water treatment will be provided.
Salary: Determined by the level of plumbing experience the applicant has at time of applying. In addition to your hourly rate, overtime is not restricted, there is opportunity for commission on sales and many other company perks.
Experience: Red Seal Plumbers as well as persons with relative plumbing experience shall apply. Applicants must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am- 5pm and sometimes beyond. Must be able to lift over 50lbs and be able to sometimes work in tight spaces.
Tools/Equipment: We provide all the tools, uniforms and safety gear that is required. We provide a company cell phone and a service tablet once the candidate is on their own.
Transportation/Travel: A valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving experience in NS would be ideal for insurability. A clean driver's abstract and a clean criminal record is ideal as we do work for the RCMP, DND and various high security locations. We use Ford Transit vans for our technicians to get to and from the different customer locations.
Work Location Information: We service all over Nova Scotia. There are opportunities to travel outside of our area for larger projects.
Specific Strengths: Most of our work requires you to install water treatment systems or service existing plumbing systems in a residential or business setting. Knowledge of water treatment systems would be an asset, but water quality specific training is provided. The candidate should be able to follow instructions and be able to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Being able to manage stressful situations in a calm and collected manner would be ideal.
We specialize in water systems. No heating systems, no wastewater, no septic systems, no clogged toilets.
