Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. operates three manufacturing facilities in Nova Scotia and is currently seeking Project Coordinators (Industrial Mechanical) to join its Bridgewater, NS team. The role of the Project Coordinator is to
MISSION :
• Complete, based on drawings, the assembly and the adjustment of mechanical components.
• Participates in equipment installation and start-up tests.
Training:
Extensive technical training in a variety of areas is available for this role
Responsibilities
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
• Exemplarity in the implementation of the safety arrangements for self and surroundings, and for the equipment
• Effectiveness of the work performed (optimized time, RFT ...)
• Quality of workmanship ensuring the reliability and durability of the equipment (Respect the technical specifications, Build the machine quality file with supplier verification sheets and traceability documents to associate when mounting, Perform the mechanical and geometric development and perform the tests to obtain a sub assembly or a machine according to the specifications)
• Timeliness of delivery
• Optimized Cost (supplies and materials used, energy consumption, ...)
• Proposal of improvement solutions using formalized requests for evolutions.
