Mat's Plastering and Taping - Bridgewater

Plastering and board taping. My work includes taping, skim-coating over rough surfaces to create a smooth, like-new appearance; plaster repair and traditional plastering.
Traditionally plastered walls remain common in Nova Scotia. Typically, people cover the surface with plasterboard - also called Sheetrock, Gyproc, etc.. However, many of these surfaces can be repaired to be like new.
In the pictures you seem some examples of my work. Photo no.9 shows a cracked ceiling. The cracks in this ceiling were repaired and the ceiling was skim-coated to a like-new appearance. In no. 8 you see a ceiling with hand-hewn beams. The beams were exposed, and between the hand-hewn beams the spaces were boarded and skimmed with a base-plaster.
In photos five and six you see a room that has been boarded and taped.
