HYPATIA is a 1981 Mirage 27 designed by Robert Perry, naval architect renowned for his cruiser/racer yacht designs. She has been maintained in good condition with many recent upgrades.

Moorage is paid through May 2023. Annual sublet might be possible.
She sails beautifully with her new NORTH mainsail and new NORTH 145% genoa. Also comes with asymmetric spinnaker.

She was in good condition when be bought her in 2020 We have loved this boat and have continued to upgrade her since then.

Powered by economical twin Mercruiser 4.3L V6 engines, the 280 Sundancer is manoeuvrable in the marina and equally comfortable slow cruising to see the sights, or popping up on the plane to get to your destination fast.

The single level cockpit features an adjustable, single helm seat opposite an L-shaped lounge, with wet bar, forward facing fold away bench and aft facing bench which converts to a sun bed. The versatile layout is great for cruising with family, socialising with friends, or even fishing (the cockpit has Scotty downrigger pads and plugs).

The cabin is bright and well appointed with cherry cabinetry and comfortable seating for four in the dinette opposite the galley, equipped with fridge/freezer, butane stove, microwave and sink with running hot/cold water. Both the forward V-berth and the mid-berth each sleep two adults comfortably. Additionally, the dinette converts to sleep an additional child or two.

This 280 Sundancer comes equipped with two full sets of canvas including the standard slope back and the optional camperback style which provides an expansive area to shelter from the elements.

Also included is a custom Sunbrella winter cover to keep the boat dry and protected during the off-season.

The extended swim grid with fold away ladder provides an excellent platform to swim and fish from. Also included is an aluminium hull inflatable dinghy with an 8HP Yamaha outboard motor for shore excursions.
