PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH on leisure and life experiences for the baby boom generation. We are looking for people born between 1946-1965 to take part in a study of leisure, work, and life transitions. While many baby boomers have begun to retire, others are unable to retire or are choosing not to retire for a variety of reasons. If this sounds like you, we want to learn from you.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to participate in an online blog with others in your generation by sharing your experiences and perceptions of leisure, work, and your decision not to retire. Your participation would involve 4 sessions per year for three years, each of which is approximately two weeks. You will be asked to log on to the blog about 5 times in each session. You can create new posts and/or comment on the posts of others.
If you volunteer to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to help you set up an account and get comfortable navigating the blog. In appreciation for your time, you will receive a $50.00 gift card annually. For more information about this study, or to volunteer for this study, please contact: Rebecca Genoe Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at 306-585-4781 or Email: rebecca.genoe@uregina.ca. Friends can support friends in many different ways, and one of the ways to support is by being a good Listener. This is a friendship group for men who are facing difficulties in life and need friends who listen and understand. The Supportive Listening meetings will not be about mentoring you or giving you advice, but allowing members to speak freely about your own thoughts. The assumption will be that you are a wise leader of your own life, and you will eventually find your path, at your own pace. I will plan for occasional local group meetings (after the current pandemic is over) for those interested.

Looking for off road adventurists who want to go out in groups in their own vehicles during the summer for day trips/weekends trips or longer. Covid safe but still fun as a group. Exploring the wilderness by day, camp in awesome spots along the routes. It’s been a long boring pandemic and with summer coming, it’s definitely time to live life and safely find some recreation. We’re bound to be in the clear soon to enjoy activities like overlanding in smaller groups. Dig out your old CB radio and slap it in your rig, because if you don’t go driver a little bit, you’ll miss the line. Grab your camera or drone, pack a fishing rod, fill the cooler with ice, don’t forget lawn chairs. And enough gas... definitely fill up/bring a Jerry Can or 2.

Work with a mental health coach and help spread the word!
We believe that gaming helps people grow in any shape or form. Blindly labeling gaming as an "addiction" is irresponsible. We try to discuss root causes of escapism in an individual to help try and balance gaming with real life issues.
Connect with a coach who has been trained to use the DSM-V in the state of Texas. Gamers deserve better mental health. Take the first step and join us for our stream Sundays Tuesdays, Thursdays at 1:00 PM CST.

Hi. Just moved to Vernon when the virus hit!! Am looking for a hiking buddy who is adventurous and doesn't mind getting lost once in a while-lol. I know a few good spots. How about you? I am an older lady but I bet I can keep up with most. Getting FAT!!! Need to get out in the great outdoors again. So much more fun with a buddy. Please leave me a contact number so I may call you. Would appreciate someone who is also available during the weekdays. Like to hike 2-3 days a week for 3-4 hours (or less). Am stupid healthy and my bubble is small and being outside breathing fresh air our risks are greatly reduced. I am polite, don't cuss and swear, can carry on an intelligent conversation or just talk about nothing important. thank you. Please email and let's get this hike on the way. Was looking to going snowshoeing today but my hiking buddy cancelled. AAAH. BOO HOO
