We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time live-in nanny to join our family in Pemberton, BC. The ideal candidate will have a background in both geriatrics and child care, as they will be responsible for providing care to an elderly gentleman in the early stages of dementia and caring for two small twins a few times a week.
Responsibilities:
*Elderly Care: Provide constant care for an elderly man with early-stage dementia. The role involves assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, and managing household duties related to his care.
*Household Duties: Perform general household tasks such as cooking and cleaning, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly individual.
*Child Care: Care for two small twins on 2-3 occasions per week, separate from elderly care responsibilities. This includes overseeing their well-being, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and attending to their needs.
*Baby Care: Attend to the specific needs of the infants, ensuring their safety, feeding, changing, and providing a nurturing environment.
Qualifications:
*Previous experience in both geriatric and child care.
*Compassionate and patient demeanor, particularly when dealing with the elderly and children.
*Understanding of the challenges associated with dementia care.
*Ability to multitask and manage household duties efficiently.
*First aid and CPR certification would be an asset.Terms:

Hi, my wife and son are staying with some friends in a beautiful 7 bedroom Chalet in Whistler.
Our regular nanny was not issued a visa to Canada and could not fly with us so we are now seeking someone from the area.
It’s also possible to do daily work if not wanting to live in for the duration of our stay but there is a bedroom ready.
