About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Field Operations Technician/Backup Panel Technician role is the carrying out of normal duties, overseeing, and assisting junior level technicians in the continuous outside operations in the process area of the facility, including the gas preparation, condensate stabilization, and liquefaction units. These duties include performing site checks, adjusting equipment in consult with the control room, preparing equipment for maintenance, and assisting maintenance and other support groups for optimal efficiency and availability of the plant.
As a secondary function, the person selected for this this position will be required to be become fully qualified to assist the Sr. Process Panel Technicians as required and to provide vacation coverage.
Panel operations of the process include the gas treatment (Warm End) and the liquefaction sections (Cold End) of the LNG trains from the Yokogawa Distributed Control System (DCS).
When working in the control room, the main responsibility will be to achieve the daily operating plan, while staying within the operating limits, specified in the Alarm Variable Tables (VT’s). The technician will pro-actively monitor DCS parameters and anticipate deviations in line with Ensure Safe Production (ESP) standards, and be able to execute safe startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
Before RFSU:
- Adhere to LNG Canada work practices and processes to ensure safety of self, personnel, process plant and environment
- Complete LNG Canada pre-start up Field Technician training program
- Take part in validation of S/U and S/D procedures through use of Operations Training Simulator (OTS). Will be trained to be assessed competent on OTS
- Partake in Loop Testing activities as assigned
- Support CSU organization during cleaning, preservation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
- Participate in development of system and unit punch lists
- Perform system and unit walk downs to ensure punch list items are addressed appropriately
- Review safe operating procedures for startup and run and maintain phases
After RFSU (Field & Control Room Activities):
- Work with CSU team on field equipment/process commissioning and startup activities
- Assist Sr. Process Panel Technician in the control room as required
- As the startup progresses, begin to spend more time in the control room to become fully competent as per Production Team Lead (PTL) directions
During Operate (Run and Maintain) Phase:

- Ensure that plant operations are conducted in a safe manner, and that all safety and environmental regulations are followed in accordance to approved operating procedures and standards
- Perform field proactive monitoring rounds in the operating area to observe and verify all equipment and overall plant conditions
- Maintain process equipment through application of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and completion of minor maintenance
- Through training and experience, develop minor maintenance skills in electrical, instrumentation, pipefitting, etc. to align with LNG Canada’s vision of a multiskilled future work force
- Creation of quality maintenance work orders when required
- Execute unit objectives to meet the overall safety and production goals
- Participate actively and constructively in safety meetings, inspections, and high potential pre-job safety meetings
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership in the field during execution of permitting activities within area of control, including system and equipment isolation, depressurization and clearing for maintenance as per established procedures and work instructions
- Perform housekeeping duties as necessary on and around equipment, process area, and control room, keeping equipment and plant site safe, clean, and clear
- Support shift team by participating in shift focal point program
- Assist training new shift team members to build competency
- Regularly review and update operations work procedures and safe work practices
- Coach and transfer knowledge and specialist skills to less experienced colleagues
- Progress through Common Facilities areas (Utilities, Storage & Loading) field and panel roles per the agreed progression plan

- Total number of loops to control is 250-300 per LNG train
- Works in a shift team of Operators, including 2 Production Team Leads (PTL) and one Production Supervisor (PS) (12h shift, 24/7)
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with 3-5 years of panel experience (Gas Processing, Refinery or Petrochemical preferred)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-starter, be flexible to work in the Field or Panel as assigned
- Must have 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher; however, persons having passed part A & B of their 4th class exams but still require firing time will be considered
- Possession of an Environmental Operators Certification Level 2 in Water Treatment and or Wastewater Treatment is preferred for the purposes of eventual cross training in the Utilities Area (but not a mandatory)
- Commissioning and start up experience preferred (but not mandatory)
- Possess a strong commitment to working safely and adhering to safe work practices
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions associated with process upsets
- NFPA 1081 or 1002 certification is preferred (but not mandatory); however, NFPA level certifications will be required during run and maintain phase of plant operation – training will be provided
This role requires that you:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
- Live in the beautiful District of Kitimat-Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace). Our Service Technicians are responsible for product installation, field support and maintenance, equipment repair, customer property management and equipment rentals.

About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Field Operations Technician/Backup Panel Technician role is the carrying out of normal duties, overseeing, and assisting junior level technicians in the continuous outside operations in the process area of the facility, including the gas preparation, condensate stabilization, and liquefaction units. These duties include performing site checks, adjusting equipment in consult with the control room, preparing equipment for maintenance, and assisting maintenance and other support groups for optimal efficiency and availability of the plant.
As a secondary function, the person selected for this this position will be required to be become fully qualified to assist the Sr. Process Panel Technicians as required and to provide vacation coverage.
Panel operations of the process include the gas treatment (Warm End) and the liquefaction sections (Cold End) of the LNG trains from the Yokogawa Distributed Control System (DCS).
When working in the control room, the main responsibility will be to achieve the daily operating plan, while staying within the operating limits, specified in the Alarm Variable Tables (VT’s). The technician will pro-actively monitor DCS parameters and anticipate deviations in line with Ensure Safe Production (ESP) standards, and be able to execute safe startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
Before RFSU:
- Adhere to LNG Canada work practices and processes to ensure safety of self, personnel, process plant and environment
- Complete LNG Canada pre-start up Field Technician training program
- Take part in validation of S/U and S/D procedures through use of Operations Training Simulator (OTS). Will be trained to be assessed competent on OTS
- Partake in Loop Testing activities as assigned
- Support CSU organization during cleaning, preservation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
- Participate in development of system and unit punch lists
- Perform system and unit walk downs to ensure punch list items are addressed appropriately
- Review safe operating procedures for startup and run and maintain phases
After RFSU (Field & Control Room Activities):
- Work with CSU team on field equipment/process commissioning and startup activities
- Assist Sr. Process Panel Technician in the control room as required
- As the startup progresses, begin to spend more time in the control room to become fully competent as per Production Team Lead (PTL) directions
During Operate (Run and Maintain) Phase:

To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with 3-5 years of panel experience (Gas Processing, Refinery or Petrochemical preferred)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-starter, be flexible to work in the Field or Panel as assigned
- Must have 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher; however, persons having passed part A & B of their 4th class exams but still require firing time will be considered

In this area, the treated natural gas from the warm end is liquified by a refrigeration process that contains large scale equipment such as aero derivative gas turbine driven multistage centrifugal compressors, along with other heat exchangers, vessels, and auxiliary equipment.

About the Role
This position is responsible for the continuous outside operations in the process area of the facility, including the gas preparation, condensate stabilization, and liquefaction units. These duties include performing site checks, adjusting equipment in consult with the control room, preparing equipment for maintenance, and assisting maintenance and other support groups for optimal efficiency and availability of the plant.
Within each of the two LNGC Process Trains there are two different field areas: the warm end and the cold end.
The warm end consists of the gas preparation units that remove carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, water, and mercury from the gas. The gas is then precooled followed by condensate removal; this condensate is then stabilized and routed to storage. Some of the equipment in this area includes columns, packed vessels, high pressure pumps, and heat exchangers.
The cold end of the process train is LNG Canada’s main cryogenic process section. In this area, the treated natural gas from the warm end is liquified by a refrigeration process that contains large scale equipment such as aero derivative gas turbine driven multistage centrifugal compressors, along with other heat exchangers, vessels, and auxiliary equipment.
Field Technicians will initially be assigned to the process areas (Warm End and Cold End); however, over the course of their career the technicians will cross train in the other work areas (Utilities and Storage & Loading) and additionally could progress into the panel positions.

During Execute (Project Commissioning) Phase:
- Adhere to LNG Canada work practices and processes to ensure safety of self, personnel, process plant and environment
- Support CSU organization during cleaning, preservation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Participate in development of system and unit punch lists
- Perform system and unit walk downs to ensure punch list items are addressed appropriately
- Review safe operating procedures for startup and run and maintain phases
- Complete LNG Canada pre-start up training program
During Operate (run and maintain) Phase:
- Ensure that plant operations are conducted in a safe manner, and that all safety and environmental regulations are followed in accordance to approved operating procedures and standards
- Ensure own technical competencies in assigned work areas are maintained through the Competency Development and Assurance process
- Progress through various field and panel operator roles as per the agreed progression plan
- Respond to emergency situations under direction of production team leader to provide first-line emergency response in accordance with emergency procedures
- Perform field proactive monitoring rounds in the operating area to observe and verify all equipment and overall plant conditions
- Maintain process equipment through application of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and completion of minor maintenance
- Through training and experience, develop minor maintenance skills in electrical, instrumentation, pipefitting, etc. to align with LNG Canada’s vision of a multiskilled future work force
- Creation of quality maintenance work orders when required
- Execute unit objectives to meet the overall safety and production goals
- Participate actively and constructively in safety meetings, inspections, and high potential pre-job safety meetings
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership in the field during execution of permitting activities within area of control, including system and equipment isolation, depressurization and clearing for maintenance as per established procedures and work instructions
- Perform housekeeping duties as necessary on and around equipment, process area, and control room, keeping equipment and plant site safe, clean, and clear
- Support shift team by participating in shift focal point program
- Assist training new shift team members to build competency
- Regularly review and update operations work procedures and safe work practices
- Demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and grow (Learner Mindset) while progressing through each technician level
- Support the development and utilize digitization initiatives that challenge industry norms and future proof the business
To be successful, you will have:
- Must have demonstrated experience as a field operator with 5 yrs. or more in plant operations (Gas Processing, Petrochemical or Refinery experience preferred)
- Must have 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher; however, persons having passed part A & B of their 4th class exams but still require firing time will be considered
- Possession of an Environmental Operators Certification Level 2 in Water Treatment and or Wastewater Treatment is preferred for the purposes of eventual cross training in the Utilities Area (but not a mandatory)
- Commissioning and start up experience preferred (but not mandatory)
- Possess a strong commitment to working safely and adhering to safe work practices
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions associated with process upsets
- NFPA 1081 or 1002 certification is preferred (but not mandatory); however, NFPA level certifications will be required during run and maintain phase of plant operation – training will be provided
This role requires that you:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
- Live in the beautiful District of Kitimat-Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace). Housekeeper/Kitchen Assistant –
Key members of our team, our housekeepers ensure that our guest rooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean. They also have a large role in our food program – aiding our kitchen team with serving and cleaning up for breakfast, preparing the dining room for service, and prepping, executing, and cleaning through the end of dinner service.
Schedule is typically 5.5 days on and 1.5 days off. 3-4 shifts per week are split shifts, housekeeping in the mornings, breaking in the afternoon, and working dinner shifts in the evening.

Camp Potlatch, a wilderness Summer Camp and Outdoor Centre located in Howe Sound, is operated by BGC South Coast BC, which provides a wide range of social development and recreational services to children, youth, and families in the Metro Vancouver area.
Camp Potlatch has an Outdoor Centre season (April-June, and September-October) and Summer Camp, with over 2,000 visits to the site each year.
Reporting to the Camp Coordinator, the Assistant Coordinator – Outdoor Centre is a key member of the Camp leadership team, and fulfills a wide range of duties relating to programs, facilities, administration, and human resources at Camp. The Assistant Coordinator will work full-time at our Vancouver office from November to April, and will then be based at Camp from May to October while programs are being delivered.
The focus of this position is to secure bookings for the Outdoor Centre, then to host groups and deliver programs while on site. During the Summer Camp season, the Assistant Coordinator – Outdoor Centre assists in coordination and delivery of the Summer Camp program.
JOB DUTIES
• Works with the Camp Coordinator in planning and implementing all aspects of the Outdoor Centre including:
o program development, program delivery, and evaluation

As a growing company, we are now seeking for a driven Marketing Coordinator to work with management to expand the Terry International Education and Services name domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Implement and evaluate company’s marketing and communication strategies to promote the company’s social image and brand value
• Identify new opportunities and build relationships with overseas and local education agents and partners
• Design and prepare company brochures, reports, newsletters and other materials for the local and overseas market
• Host online/offline seminars or events for prospective clients to update educational programs and policies, answering questions, etc.
• Develop engaging marketing campaigns by coordinating with the Web Designer to update information on Terry Education and Services website and social media platforms
• Responsible for composing promotional articles about education news, client spotlights, school activities, etc.
• Keep agents updated with new marketing information and promotion materials to promote Terry Education and Services
• Ongoing research work of the latest education requirements within Canada and update company’s business service scope accordingly
• Representing the company to attend national education exhibitions and social events
• Perform all other related duties as required to promote the image of the various education institutions and of Terry Education and Services’ programs and services.
Job Requirements:• Bachelor degree or higher
• Minimum 2 years of marketing experience in professional business services or education services is preferred
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Photoshop or other graphics editing software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Communications skills with experience in delivering customer service satisfaction
• Excellent marketing, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships
• Strong Mandarin and English proficiency is an asset
