Bonded kids ponies! 13.2h 20 year old mare & 9h 14 yr old shetland mini gelding.
Turn key opportunity for novice owners, hobby farm, backyard ponies or easy board pair. Come with tack fitted by local professionals as well as their blankets. These 2 are looking for their next family to love on. They are an absolute pleasure.
JAZZ
13.2 QH/Welsh/Appy mare, 20 years young, scoot boots, easy keeper, never foundered, no spook, buck or bolt, stands, ties, grooms. Leadline gem of a beginner pony, flat work and/or small jumps. Responds best to soft hands, patience & appropriate cues (verbal, leg presure etc). Soft & smooth canter. Easy transitions. Jazz has hind end arthritis due to age so she takes Previcox daily. Doesn’t like being clipped but will tolerate it with patience.
SHILOH
9h dark bay Shetland miniature horse. 14, years young, broke to ride, leadline W/T & has even done a leadline trot XR course at local school show! Barefoot, easy keeper, never foundered. Needs a strict handler if you have a kid on him that knows how to use the breaks! Otherwise in your pocket, a big dog/teddy bear, always up in your (and everyone else’s) business. Clips like a dream, trims, loads, ties, stands well. You get what you give with him in terms of handling, lunging, riding etc. The more time you put in the more you get out and the better behaved he is. Does not enjoy being groomed or bathed, cross-ties required and an adult helping the kiddos. He can be mouthy/nippy as his patience tires, total escape artist, driving experience unknown.
