It is hatching season! :) I am taking orders for Thousand Flower (Mille Fleur) D'Uccle bantam chicks. Sold unsexed.
Please no orders under two chicks. ~I may have two chicks for sale here and there throughout the season so if you only want two I can put you on a list.
If you do not know of this breed I suggest you Google or DuckDuckGo the breed. They are so lovable and even stand their own with large breeds.
In England they were and still are called Living Flowers or Flowers of the garden due to their gorgeous white (flower) spots.
As they age they get more and more beautiful as more and more flowers appear every year! They have what is called a beard because they have big cheek feathers and a round face...so cute.
They are a true bantam, lay a good amount of fair size eggs (esp for how small they are) and are very friendly.
My chicks come from several lines and are not inbred. They hold a very special place in my heart and are a top favorite breed that I have.
The pics provided are older and the girls now have way more flowers:)
If you have any questions please email me. Thanks and happy chickening~

I've been fostering Bandit here in Vancouver since his owner died.
He is 3.5 years old, neutered, weighs about 35 lbs and is up to date with his shots. He is fully housetrained and can be left alone without any trouble. He is low to medium energy, requiring at least one 20 minute walk in the morning, a 45 outing during the day and one 15-20 walk at night.
My partner and I both have jobs that require clients to come to our home and Bandit is always such a wonderful greeter. He's not in your face, he reads the room and either stays to socialize or goes back to napping.
Bandit is a great road-trip dog. Happy to stop at breweries and cafes or go on a hike or a canoe paddle.
He's such an easy dog to have around and generates so much joy! He loves to snuggle and cuddle but he's not needy for it.
When given the option to hang out in the yard or in the living-room, he chooses to be inside. Perhaps this is because he spent the first few years of his life outdoors. This means he'd be great in an apartment or house. Plus he's not a barker.
We think that Bandit was taken from his mamma too early because he self-soothes by suckling on a blanket. Also, when he goes in to say "HI" to another dog he moves in too quickly which often means he wasn't taught to give space. His new owner will have to help him learn these manners.
Bandit can be reactive with some male dogs. We think it's non-neutered small dogs that trigger him. For this reason, it is extremely important to monitor the environment and avoid interactions with smaller dogs until tested. We have dog-sat several small dogs since fostering Bandit and he's been good with all of them however they were all females.
If you are looking for a beer buddy, a road-trip pal, a bundle of joy to get you outside for walk or a companion to be by your side while you work, Bandit is the one!
Send me a message if you're interested in knowing more about this special little dude.

Sheepadoodle puppies! (Old English Sheepdog and poodle.) These doodles are incredibly calm and loyal. Just 1 boy left! Absolutely adorable puppies that look like little teddy bears! Second generation doodles so they are hypoallergenic and non shedding!
Mom is a Sheepadoodle and dad is a Moyen poodle.
The mom belongs to our 10 year old boy. He saved up money to buy her and then completed her health testing before having her bred. He has raised both the mom and now the puppies all by himself!
Mom is 4 years old, around 45 lbs, is extremely calm, quiet, gentle and loyal.
Dad is 3 years old, 45 lbs, and is also health tested with clear results and is very smart and loving. This will be our last litter!
These puppies are as sweet as can be because they have been raised by the sweetest little boy. It will be hard for him to part with them so please tell us about yourself when replying.
Puppies are located in Kamloops.
Delivery to Vancouver available on Thursday, June 8th!

The most beautiful baby Netherland dwarf bunny rabbits are in Montreal. A little drive, but worth the trip! Delivery is also available for your convenience.
We show our rabbits at ARBA ( American Rabbit Breeder Association) shows. We were the only breeder of purebred Netherland dwarfs, Holland lops, mini rex, and lionheads to fly from Quebec or Ontario to Reno, Nevada last year, to show rabbits at the ARBA Annual Convention and our Netherland dwarfs won in their classes!
We are specialized in breeding top-quality Netherland dwarfs and have produced over 10 grand champions thus year alone. Our orange Netherland dwarf buck was the BEST orange male entered with 90 oranges competing at the 99th ARBA annual Convention in Reno, Nevada. Another senior buck was 5th. Our orange senior does came 2nd and 4th, Junior doe was 3rd. In fawns, our fawn senior doe was 2nd. Our fawn senior bucks were 3rd and 5th. Our broken junior orange buck was 4th. Do not be fooled by the competition: the best orange, fawn, and broken Netherland dwarfs in Canada are in Montreal!
Ready to go now: orange, fawn, broken chestnut, broken fawn, broken opal, broken lilac tortoiseshell and rare harlequin, and very rare tri-colored Netherland dwarf babies.
We have four dwarf breeds of bunnies. The Netherland dwarf is one of the smallest breeds and 1.5 to 3 lbs on average. Is has a short, cobby body, rounded head and short ears. The mini rex is perhaps the most playful and extroverted, with short, plush, hypoallergenic. It most ressembles a cat or dog in temperament. (Please note that this breed is not *guaranteed* to not cause allergies. Allergy testing is your best bet if you have doubts about getting any pet.) Our mini rex typically weigh 2.5 to 3.5 lbs.The lionhead is a dwarf rabbit with a long mane around its neck and some longer fur on its rump, resembling a lion. It has a great temperament. Finally, the Holland lop is the smallest of all the lop-eared ( hanging ear) breeds, and usually very calm.
All our rabbits are lovingly raised in our home with 4 kids, cat, and dog, and are handled daily which allows them to be socialized and used to household noises. Our rabbits are all friendly and are litter- trained or started litter -training. They are dewormed, treated for fleas, ticks, and mites and get a preventative treatment for coccidiosis.
Also ready to go:
Vienna carrier Holland lop girls: black tortoiseshell (caramel), magpie, orange.Mini rex: chocolate and black harlequin, red, fox, black tortoiseshell chocolate chinchilla.
Lionheads: blue-eyed white, himalayan, vienna carrier blue with single mane, double-maned blue, chocolate, and fawn with BLUE EYES.
Prices start at 50 for babies and up, depending on the breed and color. Some adults available from 40.
New cages and complete starter kits are available. Used cages also available.
Please do NOT buy a bunny impulsively. A bunny is 8 to 12 years of responsibility. It is a loving, sentient creature and is not for you to dispose after your child(ren) get bored of it. We will always take back our bunnies if you can no longer care for them (conditions apply). Please do not abandon them in a park or at the SPCA.
Please call for more information 514 779 6726

Hello Kijiji.
One of my male rats has recently passed leaving behind two broken hearts (mine included)
My boy is 2 years but still very active and healthy and I'm trying to figure out what my best option is if I should find another companion for my boy similar in age or give him up to another home with other boys.
Just putting out some feelers. He means the world to me so I want to do whats best for him.
Please reach out if you have any advice or solutions. Thank you!

We bought "Panda" at 3 months old from PetSmart in March and then recently also got a young dog (had been looking for a few yeas.... long story!), and wish we had more energy to give to Panda, so have decided to rehome her (even though our puppy is obsessed with her!). Included in the price is: her large cage with top and side openings, the wheel, bridges, tunnels, sand "toilet" (which she uses mostly to pee in - also pees in another corner), chaise lounge, toys, a couple of bags of food, some fluff for the cage, cage cleaner, treats, chewy sticks, a homemade cardboard maze with lid, the gloves we use when handling her, 1/2 a bag of sand, and a homemade "carrier" tupperware case you can use when transporting her or cleaning her cage. Panda has a sweet personality, is not scared of our puppy at all when she's in her cage, is appropriately curiously and shy when running around our bathroom, comes into our hands when we have broccoli or cheerios, and is mostly still nocturnal (but we see her a few times in the afternoon and then come out "for good" around dinner, and sometimes mid morning too). They have a 1.5-2yr lifespan so Panda should have a good 12 months + left (good first pet!). We are in Cook St. Village area. Reach out with any questions.

Wonderful baby bunnies looking for their new forever home. Incredibly sweet and gentle, these bunnies have been handled by our children everyday and will be great pets. They were born in November, so are about 3 months right now. They enjoy kibble, grasses, and fresh greens. Rabbits live til about age 9, and can be litter trained. We would gladly accept $40 towards their upkeep, though will also give them for free:) We really and truly just want them to go to great homes.

This 1 year old black beauty is in search of her new people!
She is currently residing in my herd of girls and gets along great with everyone else!
If you have another female guinea pig, we can set up a bonding date before you make the decision to take her home to make sure they get along.
If it doesn't work out, I am more than happy to take her back!
Do not hesitate to ask any questions. I am happy to answer them.I also have hay, pellets and shavings at a reduced price.

Free female bunny - comes with all that's needed. Pics available upon request. Need gone ASAP; I'm unexpectedly reacting to her hay (I've developed new and worse allergies since having covid) and my antihistamines only work a bit. That was not expected. As well, she's too scared of the other pets in spite of my efforts to separate these guys, and, to put the hay in other room (it still ends up in the air too much.)
About bunny:
She is a very pretty and soft (she has eyelashes!) She is quite sweet when you show her gentle affection - she responds well to head pets and cute voice stuff, but her needs are too much of a handful for me, as my health has been compromised. I thought I could rescue this bunny but it is too much for me and I hope to find someone able and willing. She is a healthy and robust bunny of medium to large size and will be a good lil buddy to a person who feels they are the right fit. She would do best either alone - but with a person that's around at least half the time who can gently dote on her - or with a more dominant, outgoing bunny friend... and clearly her person must not be allergic to hay! This bunny is quite docile and submissive - but can become anxious with the wrong approaches. She does not like being picked up (like most bunnies) and if you do you must say 'shh it's okay 'and pick her up the correct way (supporting her bum/hind legs - there are examples online.) She's definitely also (cautiously) curious and affectionate with gentle petting and cooing to her. She likes to explore a bit, once comfortable enough. She likes music, it seems to calm her - especially childrens' music. She's often keen to just sit and chill out...she's not a hyper bunny.
She really does loves those good gentle pets - she puts her head down to the ground and lightly chatters her teeth to show she's pleased... it's cute. She has a cage that she sits in and eats in but she's also been (cautiously) free roaming a bit. She is learning the litter box sometimes, but is still learning it and sometimes goes in her cage. She's a good, healthy eater. Eats her hay and pellets.. loves greens and the sometimes a carrot or apple treat.
I have not been able to bring her in the room even when the pets are caged, even though she seems like she wants to, which makes me feel torn, as she tries to go in... sometimes she tries and I'm forced to pick her up before she runs under my bed, which distresses her further.. but she's just too uncomfortable and scared of the other fur babies presence once she notices them. When they're out the want to chase her (they think it's a game) which has upset her a fair bit.
They say bunnies should have their own room but it seems like she is the kind that wants to hang out with you in your room (even if her cage is in another room) which I can't give her that as she's scared of my caged/sometimes roaming fur babies in there. I think she wants to be the apple of someones' eye... your 'princess.'
If you think you're able to give her a chance at a nice life with you, please let me know. If you're new to bunnies definitely look up/research care of them and be willing to learn as you go. I really don't want to take her to the SPCA, would rather find a good person who's up for this, as soon as can be. If it weren't for the unexpected allergy problem I'd try to work on the other issues more.
She really is a beautiful bun bun for those more experienced, willing and able without other pets (unless it's other bunnies) OR at least with more room to separate them, like a bigger house. She deserves better. You must pick up as I don't have a car, but all you need comes with her. Please let me know if you're interested and a bit about yourself, and want me to send photos. Please email only. Thanks.

My Appaloosa mare is looking for her forever home. Sugar was born May 30,2002 so she is allmost 21 years old. She has had her hooves trimmed regular, had 5 way vaccination yearly, dewormed every 4 months and has been vetted every 2 years for health. She was last vetted in April of 2021 and had her teeth floated and by the way she still has all her teeth. She is broke to ride but has a bone chip in her front knee there fore can only be rode casually on flat ground at a walk and trot. This mare loves the attention of children and adults and would be best in a home where she would get regular attention. She is good with sheep and cattle. The only reason I'm rehoming her is because I'm now in my senior years having some health issues. For more info or if interested in her call Debra: 250-573-3394

Leroy is approximately 5 years old. He is pinto, and his left eye is blue. He has a slim build but heavy bone for his size, and good feet. He was caught from the wild and gelded last fall. He is now well halter broke and easy to catch. He stands nicely tied. He loads without hesitation in the trailer. I have packed him several times. Once he is tied on, he is perfect, but one has to be careful putting the pack on because he can be spooky and try to jump away from the packs. He has been saddled western several times and ponied out in the bush. He is not broncy at all, and has never offered to buck. When I cinch him, he appears completely comfortable, and he moves out right away with no hump whatsoever.
I have trimmed his feet (I'm a farrier) several times. He gives his feet but is impatient about keeping them up. He is surprisingly good with minor restraints--so I'll wrap a soft cotton rope around his pastern and just knowing that's there makes him more willing to stand still and give a chance to finish the job. Leroy is really quite gentle for the amount of handling that he has had, but he needs someone to really spend some time with him, and I have way too many other responsibilities to be that person,

Still searching for my perfect partner
I bought my dream horse last spring, and lost him suddenly earlier this year. Due to my recent loss, my budget is humble. Looking to stay under $5,000 if possible, with a little wiggle room.
I am seeking a horse 15.2hh or taller and ideally between 5 and 14 years old. Horse must be sound, sane, safe with no buck/bolt/rear. Something with at least a little trail experience, and w/t/c under saddle, but does not need to be fancy. A little green okay, but not looking for a project at this time. Would like them to be able to pick up all four feet, and not be herd bound.
My future horse will live outdoors in a herd environment, be well loved, and be given a forever home with me. Will be my main focus (I do not have children) and will be ridden/worked with at the very least twice a week but likely much more than that, as daylight allows. My focus will be fun pleasure riding, trails, Natural Horsemanship, with plenty of groundwork.
I am tall (5’10) and not thin so I am looking for something solid, (no full drafts please). Not picky on sex, colour or breed. Will not be purchasing sight unseen or without a PPE.
Located in Kamloops but willing to travel a reasonable distance within BC.

ISO: life long companion
I am in search of a friend to spend my time with on horsemanship and pleasure rides/trail rides. I am new to horses so I’m seeking a quiet and safe horse, has to be well broke but does not need to be fancy broke. No buck/bolt/rear, must be good with feet and load/trailer. Therefore they don’t need buttons or breeding. I am not very picky with such a small budget I know it doesn’t give me a ton of room to be very specific but would prefer no taller than 16hh between 10-20years old, not picky on sex or breed. Will NOT be purchasing sight unseen. Will be going to a very loving forever home with a natural herd environment with lots of space to roam.
Budget is max $3000 if you have a horse you think will be a good fit send me a pm:)

Secret
5 year old American Paint Horse Mare (can be registered) Dam: SAQ Twisted Rain, Sire: Alota Painted Prints
Currently standing 15.2hhUTD on teeth, worming, feet, vaccines (5-way)
She came to me in Fall 2021 and I started her under saddle. Summer 2022 I sold her to a lovley Family but due to life circumstances they can't keep her and I am helping them find a new home for her.Goes walk/jog/trot/canter
Goes bitless or in a bit.
Loads, trailers, ties well IF she is not overwhelmed. Has tried to pull back in stressful situations so I do not recommend tying her solid.
Good ground manners, easy to catch and good with her feet (healthy feet, she goes barefoot)While she was with me in 2022, we have done Clinics together, gone to lots of different places and she is the same everywhere. Her/Our favorite was the Cowboy Challenge. I have also taken her on the racetrack and she loves it, it was so fun!
Have taken her to the beach, she loves the water.
Secret's current owners used her mainly for trail rides, they did mention that she would sometimes test her rider with stopping and not moving forward, under saddle or while leading. She did try the same with me day one when I got her back recently but she snapped out of it very quickly and hasn't tried since with me or my students.
She listens well to voice, rein and leg cues, can collect walk/trot but sometimes needs reminders. She will need more work for a collected canter but I am sure it will come with time and consistent work. She loves to canter and will try to jump into it from a trot before you give the cue, once she knows she can't do it with her rider she won't try and she won't if you keep her collected.
She has a great stop IF she is focused, when there are a lot of distractions she does not stand, if you still ask her she gets frustrated. That will come with more miles and exposure though because I know she CAN do it.
She LOVES to jump so I could really see her in the jumping world, I am not much of a jumper and she is still young so I didn't want to push her. I have seen her jump in the pasture and have free jumped her and just jumped the odd log on the trails and she really enjoys it. She is a lovley and smooth mover so she could also excell in Dressage or Western pleasure.
We have done trail riding and she does well. She has spooked at things but she will do a quick stop or side step and then carry on, have never had her bolt, rear or buck. I wouldn't say she is generally spooky but she is very aware of her surroundings and if she gets worried about something and you give her the time she needs and don't push, she is fine.
She prefers to lead.
Doesn't have much experience alone kn the trails but I have taken her out a handful of times alone and she did ok but does prefer Equine company.
Has been exposed to cows, quads, cars, planes, helicopters, dogs, goats, kids..
I can NOT see her in a small stall as she loves to move around and has done great in a herd environment.Secret is very affectionate and loves attention and is motivated and smart.
I have used her for confident intermediate riders for lessons and she did well but as mentioned she will need an experienced handler to know how to deal with her when she gets worried/dramatic.
She is not hot but she can be forward.I have had her back for a couple months now to evaluate where she's at and worked with her here and there but not very consistently.
I have had some of my students ride her, including a 11 year old that was able to handle her great.
For her new home I will still offer life long support, my focus is making sure that all the horses that find their new family feel 100% comfortable (horse & handler). I would like to meet the people interested in buying to make sure they have the same approach. Kind, fair, consistent and non-violent.
I am a Certified Monty Roberts Instructor and happy to offer a discount on any of my future courses if they would like to attend with their new four legged partners.
Lots of videos and pictures available, happy to take more if anything specific would be liked to see.
Final decision of where she will go will be up to her current owner. I am just trying to help :-)Currently located in Bridge Lake, BC (Delivery can be arranged at Buyers expense)

They are not spooky, and they trailer well. Older youth has rode Tony inside and out in the pasture.
