The area is mobility scooter friendly. There is a wonderful level walk along the beach road in both directions, The post office is 50 meters from our front door and the seniors center is 200 meters. All necessities are at hand. Our cell reception is excellent. We have a very functional harbour with the Burger Barn open there all summer. There are 6 ferries a day to Port McNeill starting at 7:50 AM, 10:40, 1:40PM, 4:35, 7;00 and 9:00. And bus service to Port Hardy. The ferry has no charge for seniors Monday to Thursday. We also have a library, medical clinic, ambulance service and volunteer fire department.
