Hello,My housemate and I are looking for a 3rd housemate in our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom unit at 1035 15th Ave W and Oak in Fairview, Vancouver. Starting May 1st. May move in last week of April. Our original 3rd housemate is moving to Toronto and we have signed a new agreement to stay. 6 month lease and then month to month.
Room is on the top floor with the other 2, has its own balcony, plenty of light in the summer, and quite big.
Well situated, with a bus to downtown (#17) a block away. Pharmacy, grocery store, and bakery/deli right beside the house. Safeway down Oak street. Close to the seawall, broadway street, south granville st with lots of shops, cafes, etc. It's honestly a great location so we are wanting to stay and find a good fit rather than move to a 2 bdrm. That also means we have things furnished already in the shared spaces.
No smokers. We are not allowed pets in the unit.

I'm just a tenant but can point you to the landlord as well. If we find you are a good fit, you will likely need a landlord reference to show our landlord, proof of income, and all that good stuff.

Looking for someone who is also respectful and communicates healthily about issues to work around, quiet as all the bedrooms are upstairs, open to spending time with both of us and generally wanting to be friends, and especially clean! Must carry equal share of house chores and clean up after themselves. Must be committed to at least 6 months, ideally we all want to stay longer term together especially in this crazy market. We are very willing to help make this a home for you too, and can talk about how best to make the shared spaces work for everyone.About the house/room:
Main floor plus upstairs. Spacious. Older house that has been well renovated. In-suite laundry, street parking, no storage room but we have a small room by the kitchen to store things. Gated at the front and back. The room may be empty or can come with dresser, desk and chair from the housemate moving out.
