Description: Purpose-bred Japanese Shiba Inu puppy. At 12 weeks old, these beautiful red puppies are fully vetted and ready to head to their forever homes. This carefully planned litter combines great conformation with outstanding working drive and stable, confident temperaments. Taiho is a very small home based kennel and very limited breeding. We are a preservation breeder first and work closely with other top breeders to ensure preservation. We strive for improvement and quality always. Taiho is a member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club and our national club, Shiba Inu Canada.
Sire and Dam Achievements:
Sire and Dam are both registered with the Canadian Kennel Club(CKC), the American Kennel Club(AKC) and the United Kennel Club(UKC).
Sire is the first Shiba Inu to receive the Silver Grand Champion title with the CKC. He is currently the only shiba to hold a Sprinter SX4. He holds one Reserve Best in Show (RBIS) with the CKC a Best in Show (BIS) with All breed international Dog show Sports and multiple RBIS with ABIDS, multiple Awards of Merit with the CKC and ABIDS and a Best of Opposite win at a regional Shiba Speciality(CKC).
Dam is a CDN Bronze Grand champion and holds many sprinter and trick dog titles. At just one year, she won a select under a japanese breeder judge at our national as well as best bred by exhibitor! She is the first shiba inu to hold a Versatility Bronze. She is a BIS and RBIS winner at the UKC and won the breed at UKC's prestigious TOP ten show for 2024. She also holds a SPOT-ON title which we are very proud of. She loves agility, barn hunt and sprinter and has been an exceptional and attentive mother to her 3 boys.

* OFA Tested: Both parents possess passing clearances for hips, patellas, and eyes and are CHIC certified. * Embark Cleared: Sire and dam are both clear/normal of degenerative myelopathy and GM1-gangliosidosis
*Temperament tested: Both parents passed temperament testing with flying colors
