Job Description:Job Description HEAD CONCIERGE: RESIDENTIAL STRATA BUILDING We are expanding our team and welcome talented CONCIERGE professionals to join us. We are looking for passionate, service-driven individuals with outstanding customer service and solid supervisory track records to lead a team of concierge staff in large residential strata buildings. Locations: Burnaby Start date: As soon as possible The Head Concierge will work directly with our Operations Management Team in ensuring smooth operations in their designated site(s). They hold a key leadership role in their building(s), overseeing all aspects of client relations with residents, managers, building staff, contractors and where applicable, developer staff. The Head Concierge provide concierge services, exceeding the expectations of the Concierge job description. They are nimble in responding to the demands of their sites, adopt a “team” perspective, and excel under pressure. With reliability and accountability, the Head Concierge problem-solve and think quickly to resolve matters using tact and discretion. Head Concierge Scope: The Head Concierge must be experienced and comfortable in team lead supervisory functions. This includes: training and developing existing and new staff, assessing and correcting performance, and modelling and building on the Company’s standards for high quality and expedient service delivery to all parties. Leadership skills, excellent communication and strong work ethic are required to be successful in this role. Duties:Providing concierge servicesAddressing and resolving complaints and/or issues escalated by concierge teamEffectively responding to property manager’s requestsSupervising, training and developing the concierge team on siteScheduling to ensure site(s)’ operating needs are consistently metWorking with Management to develop and update operating procedures and practicesWorking with Human Resources to ensure staff requests and needs are communicated and met Candidates’ Attributes:Minimum two (2) years’ experience as Head Concierge in fast-paced, strata settingGenuine customer-service focusSuperb ability to listen and proactively address issuesGreat at multi-tasking, handling multiple and shifting demands and timelinesAdept at handling challenging situations and diffusing conflictExcellent communication skills, including professional writingAbility to work flexible hours to respond to business needsCommitment to high standards of serviceHospitality training/hospitality industry experienceMinimum two (2) years' supervisory experience with ability to train, mentor and build team capacityHigh proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook Work Environment:Full-time Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.
