LOG TRAILER FRYFLITE 9 AXEL BC LOGGER 2018
Description
Attention all logging operators in Northern BC! Looking for the ultimate logging rig that's ready to go for mill transfers? Look no further than this 2018 Fryflite 9 axle BC logger, with a legal weight of 72.3K KG. This owner-operator rig has been extremely well-maintained since new and is in exceptional condition.
What sets this trailer apart is the modifications made to all stakes that need folding - they now feature cam over so no chains are needed to hold down the stake. Simply flip them up under the loader and pull them down at the hoist. Plus, the lead trailer has been extended 8 inches to optimize the load to the front axle for highway hauling through government scales, maximizing 50K KG net.
This Fryflite rig also features a double lift axle on the lead and a custom lift axle on the pup rear axle. It's ready to go to any mill, (lift rear axel to fit on smaller scales) with modifications made to the swing arm by the factory, and air plumbing with full flow stainless fittings that will never freeze up. The Teflon fifth wheel on the lead is brand new in 2022, and all air bags have been replaced and upgraded to a higher load rating on the pup in 2021, and on the lead from 2021-2022.
Additionally, all maxi pot piggy backs and brake drums/brakes have been replaced over 2021-2022. The front above pin on the pup and lead has been foam-filled to avoid excess weight from snow and bark debris. Plus, this rig comes with a brand new custom molly on the pup that is designed to solve common problems of damage when unloading in the bush. Custom manufactured by Wire and Rope in PG, with a spare included for years of trouble-free use.
Other mods have been made as well, all positive, and it even comes with 2 pre-wired and modified pup light pods ready to install, so you can avoid the expense when the loaderman breaks the standard ones. The last few MVI's were done by Transformers in Burns Lake, who can confirm everything, they know the rig.
When mill transfers start, this rig is the ultimate solution,
Tires, Lead rear axel 90%, Lead centre axel are at probably 10%, I use this axel to run out drive tires. Lead front axel 60% Pup tires are between 90% and 60%
MVI’s are good to end of July, only a few weeks of work since the last one so will easily pass now for 6 months work no problem.
