- not for meat production, can be used for dairy lines but this breed is more companion oreintated and are best suited for pets.
-These are miniature goats, and are similar to Nigerian Dwarfs, they will mature between 45-80lbs
- Please do your research on the Mytonic Goat prior to messaging me. I don’t mind answering questions but to answer the biggest one - Yes they really faint. But the “Fainting” gene is a genetic mutation that causes their body to stiffen and some times they fall over. It is regressive genetic and not all kids will “faint”. Most stiffen in their legs, and “freeze” but I have many who still fall over from time to time. Kids will faint a lot in the beginning and as they mature, it becomes less frequent with time. Higher levels of fainters can walk with a “stiff back end” causing them to waddle, and run a little funny. All variations are normal, and it is also normal for them to not faint at all. It all depends on the kid! ☺️
- Great for hobby farms, raised around horses a Llama, dogs, kids and are easy keepers during the winter months. This is a great beginner breed of goat! They’re in your pocket type of personalities and love attention from their people. I’ve been raising them for over 5 years now, and I adore all of them.
All are horned, I don’t dis-bud as I personally believe their horns are their best line of defence and as the “Scape Goat” breed, disbudding would be a dis service.
