Accepting Donations/Volunteers for Strathmore Overnight Shleter

Hi there, I am a volunteer with Strathmore Overnight Shelter and we're currently accepting DONATIONS and looking for DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS to help at the Shelter. All donations go directly to help Shelter Clients and the Shelter is an almost completely VOLUNTEER RUN FACILITY. It's all about coming together to help those in need and the most vulnerable.

Volunteers must have their own means of transportation to Strathmore Shelter.

***You can drop off any donations at the door of Strathmore Overnight Shelter off the deck, Harvest Healing Centre Church, 102 Canal Gardens, Strathmore AB T1P 0C4 or at the Shelter any time after 6:00 pm***

It seems obvious, but we often take having a roof over your head for granted. Sometimes you just need a place to sleep for a night or two.
- Maybe you’ve lost your apartment
- Maybe there’s a flood
- Maybe there's trouble at home

If you don’t have money for a hotel room, you’re stuck spending a night in your car, or on the street or even on someone else’s couch, wearing out your welcome, the Strathmore Overnight Shelter may be able to help. Please contact us.
