Hiring Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper/Driver

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a smooth workflow. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about food service in a commercial catering kitchen. The shifts would be Monday-Friday 10-4pm to start. Part time Training can begin immediately and progress to Monday to Friday early September.
Responsibilities
Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of food items.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the kitchen team during peak hours by helping with various tasks as needed to ensure timely service.
Making deliveries with company vehicle
Skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while following instructions from chefs and cooks.
Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in a busy kitchen setting.
