This volume was printed primarily for libraries, professional societies, and subscribers, so it doesn’t often turn up in the general collector’s market.
This is an ex-library copy with expected markings, but remains securely bound and free of mustiness or major damage. There is a 2-inch tear on the bottom of the first page of the contents section (shown in the gallery). Otherwise, pages are clean and illustrations remain crisp and intact.

Quality of sound is pretty good for the 1980s.

Onkyo TX-SV70PRO receiver built in Japan by in 1990. Original retail price was $1,200. Perfect working order and just a few minor nicks and scuffs.
It has five discrete amplifiers putting out 90 watts per channel for two channel stereo with center and rear channel capability rated at 30 watts per channel.
Outputs for two sets of front speakers plus a front panel headphone jack.
Great for vinyl lovers will be happy to see that this is a turntable friendly receiver with phono jacks and a warm built-in phono preamp
No HDMI which means no digital surround decoding adding distortion, just a pure analog signal path with a Dolby ProLogic circuit for surround effects.
