Schluter®-KERDI is a pliable sheet-applied waterproofing membrane and vapor-retarder designed to directly apply tile. KERDI is ideal for use in tiled showers, bathtub surrounds, residential steam showers, and other tile applications in wet areas.
Ditra is a polyethylene uncoupling membrane. It has a grid structure of square cutback cavities with an anchoring fleece laminated to the underside. The open rib structure allows in-plane movement, effectively neutralizing the movement stresses between the substrate and the tile to prevent cracking. The thickness of the tile assembly is minimized by using Ditra, which is only 1/8 in. thick. Roll dimensions are 3 ft. 3 in Wide, Length Depends on Roll Model 54 sq ft / 150 sq ft / 323 sq ft Membrane thickness is 1/8 in. I got this jacket around 5 years ago and since then, it hasn't been worn very many times and has just been sitting in a closet. It's very warm and comfortable even in -40 and lower, the fur is removable via a zipper, and it still has its strong fresh down smell.

Central to Africville's life were the church and the school. Working together, residents sought without success to obtain basic services from the municipal government to which they paid their property taxes. In the 1960s Halifax's city government decided to acquire the land and demolish the houses, destroying the community.
