This 14 foot Chestnut Canoe was purchased in 1974 -75. It was the second to the last one made at the Chestnut factory. Exterior hull treated with double boiled linseed oil. Recanvased with 15 oz
canvas. Sealed with Latex Mastic RT, three coats. Two coats of oil based primer.
Seven coats of Fishermans Red oil based paint. Out whales treated with gun oil.

What you need to know:
The previous owner had damaged the hull, which has been repaired with West epoxy fibreglass and resin. The centre board has been replaced and the rudder as well, this boat is water ballasted which means that when you sail it, you flood the bottom of the boat for stability, then when you bring the boat out of the water, you drain it. The internal ballast tank has a slow leak, which means that some water does seep into the bilge, it is handled by the bilge pump whenever it’s out on the water. The boat has been moored on Lake Cowichan several times for several days at a time without any issue.
The sails are in reasonable condition; there is some staining from some of the metal work, but they are fully serviceable and working.
The boat is easy to handle, and in pretty good condition for its age, and prospective buyers need to come and view it before making offers.

Price drop from $25,000 to $20,000 absolutely firm and no negotiations. The first twenty grand takes it away! 2007 Regal 1900 luxury lake boat for sale. The boat has 50 hours on it and the engine has 20 hours. This engine, a 4.3L, V6, Volvo Penta (225 hp.) was not a rebuild but a brand new crated engine. All documentation is available. It needs work and minor repairs. For instance, the paint needs to be brought back up and waxed. The interior also needs to be cleaned. Once the interior is cleaned, she is beautiful and immaculate inside , very comfortable with the deep hull design. This is a “tunnel hull” and is great for wake boarding or water skiing. The boat is designed to ride on a cushion of air and create a wake for water sports. Other minor repairs include as follows; Some of the tarpaulin SS snaps need to be replaced. I have a kit for that. The last thing that needs to be done is a small weld on the ski tower. One of the uprights is cracked and can be easily repaired. If this boat was “turn key” and ready to go, I would be asking $28,000. I am not prepared to do any of the work and hence the lower price. It also has a new battery and prop that have never been used. This boat was a limited edition run by Regal and all the stainless steel on it is considered “ocean worthy.” This can also be verified. Although it’s considered “ocean worthy” it has never seen salt water.

Un voilier parfait pour la famille, qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes à coucher. Construit en 1983. Il est performant, sécurisant, incroyablement solide et bien fait. L'intérieur est confortable et la vie à bord agréable. Barre franche précise et douce.
Équipé d'un moteur Hors Bord HONDA 10 forces et de non moins de 7 VOILES, en bon état. (2 Grandes Voiles, un Foc régulier en kevlar et un tempête, un Génois, un grand Génois et un Spi).
Il est monté sur une remorque, pour aller au plan d'eau de votre choix, avec rallonge pour faciliter les opérations aux débarcadères.
À ce prix, c'est une aubaine, j'ai vu des comparables passer à 12000$ avec 3 voiles et sans remorque (qui vaut à elle seule 1500$).
