Tri haul row boat, fiberglass, no trailer, used to haul on roof of old Chrysler station wagon. Always used a 10 hp outboard (not included). Pretty stable, a 200lb man once climbed in out of the water from the side without tipping boat (he wanted to see if it could be done)! Two adults and 2 kids all usually went out together in it. Oars included, probably still have roof top trailer hitch mounting pole setup somewhere.

Why not give yourself something you’ve always wanted — sailing lessons for next summer? Young or old the Port Dover Yacht Club’s Sailing School offers classes for all ages by well qualified instructors certified by Sail Canada.

Interested in purchasing a sail boat or just getting out on the water? Sailing lessons for next summer is the safest and best way to start sailing. It's also a great and unique gift idea.

Adults: Courses are conducted over two consecutive weekends and are offered all season long. Approximately 30 hours of instruction occurs on our 27-ft keelboat at a cost of $700 + HST.

Youth Program: Courses for youth aged 8 – 16 are offered weekly, Monday to Friday from 9 am–4 pm, on smaller boats called dinghies. These courses are for all levels of ability from total beginners to more experienced sailors. All instructors and courses are certified by Sail Canada. Cost is $295 + HST for 1 week and $540 + HST for 2 weeks.

There are opportunities to compete during dinghy racing nights on Tuesdays for students age 13 – 18. Cost is $125 and includes a fabulous T-shirt. Our teams also compete in sailing regattas around Ontario.

Trial Program: If you’re not sure if sailing is for you and don’t want to commit to a full course, you can just give it a try during our Discover Sail program for $109.99. This is available for both adults (2 Thursday evenings) and students (2 days). There is no certification with this trial program.

Selling our lightly used 2020 Duckworth 18’ Pacific Navigator Sport (20’4” including the Offshore Bracket). This boat is perfect for a family of five like ours, or you could fish comfortably with 4 adults. She’s a very economical boat, so regular people can afford to keep her going. She cruises at 25-28 mph, using about 4.5-5 GPH. Wide open throttle is about 38-40mph. She’s easy to handle and easy to trailer.
