Selling my thunderbird. I got the car a couple years ago. I’ve since had it in storage with the intentions to finish it. I’m probably forgetting more. Paint isn’t mint and the bike is used but works like a charm and has never let me down. Mid 1990’s Timberjack 618. Has 8.3 cummins engine-the 230hp after cooled one. Starts at touch of the key, runs nice. Resealed hydraulic pump shaft seals, some pilot block and control valve horses and orings. Changed some hoses. Two new front idlers, good sprockets. 30 degree head. Saw is tight.
The bad:
Rails and pads arent new but still have lots of life. Runs warm sometimes if outside temp is warm, likely needs a good rad flash. Still has a few hydraulic leaks on control valve and the engine leaks a small amount on front cover and oil cooler(minor, just annoying). Door latch needs some tlc.
Has been a spare the last few winters, but cut a big of row last week. Looking to upgrade to bigger machine and put my current one as spare. Great farm or woodlot machine. $23,000 located in Telkwa

I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T that had a high rise air gap intake manifold with way larger injectors and an aftermarket throttle body and headers and there may be some other things added that I am unaware of yet. The truck wants to pop and backfire a little bit upon starting it and when it is warm and in gear it won’t idle below 2000rpm’s. I just need the computer tuned so it will idle properly and hopefully that will be enough for me to be able to drive it. I don’t want to pay those ridiculous shop charges so if you can or know anybody wh can help me please let me know. Thank you for any assistance or information in advance. I would also be interested in a tuner that is compatible (2003 dakota R/T) with my truck.
