In the summer of 1979, Valerie Shaver is a woman facing the most difficult decision of her young life. The mother of two finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship. Mistakes from her past and the constant threat of violence have her questioning whether to stay with the devil she knows or risk everything to take her babies and run.
How far will a mother go to protect her children?
Carrying the blame for her mother’s pain and feeling the wrath of a father who resents her very existence, Ricki searches for a way out. Together with her younger sister, the two face a dilemma no child should… how to get rid of their father?
The story is reminiscent of “This Boys Life” with Robert De Niro, Ellen Barkin and Leonardo DiCaprio. Here are trailers (previews) from our other films shot in the Ottawa area.

I’m looking for people to play Jackbox Games, all you need is a PC or laptop with internet, a smartphone or tablet and a Webcam. I have all the party packs in the pictures (1 to 4). Only one person needs to own the games for everyone to play. The process is easy. When a game time is set, I will send out an invitation to Google Meet via email. All you have to do is click to link to join the video conference. Once the game starts your screen will become the gaming board where you will see all the info. You simply go to Jackbox TV in any web browser (phone, Tablet, etc) and enter the 4 digit code to enter the game. From there you just play along and enter your answers as the games progresses. It’s a wonderful (and safe) way to chat with others and play some really fun games at the same time. Drop me a line if you have any interest or what to know more. Adults only please.

Interesting in joining or learning about air cadets? Come on out and see things for yourself in person and talk to current cadets and staff! Create a life long experience that will stay with your child forever!
Due to COVID-19 we're currently training virtually. Reply to the ad for further information or to join today!
Interested in a future aviation career, or to grow your knowledge base in an air element? Air Cadets offers several fields of study from Aerodromes, Navigation, Citizenship, Principles of Flight, Power and Glider Flying Scholarships, to paid summer camps and more!
The best part for parents is that Air Cadets is FREE TO JOIN!
Air Cadets offers youth aged 12-18 the opportunity to learn, to serve, and to advance themselves at their own pace. Summer camps are also available in various fields of study. They are held on Canadian Forces Air Force Bases throughout Ontario, and offer a fantastic experience to not only learn new things, but to meet other people with similar interests. Cadets attending summer camps also get remunerated for their time!
At 822 Squadron we offer several optional programs. Our regular training is every Wednesday evening throughout the school year (except holidays) from 6:30 - 9:30pm.
Cadets who are older and wish to join, there is a FastTrack program that will bring them up to speed so they can stay among cadets their own age. Each year in cadets is represented by a level. First year cadets is level 1, second year is level 2, and so on. Level five is the highest achieveable level. In level three, cadets get more involved with drill, aviation studies, leadership and instructional techniques. This is also a great way to accumulate community service hours for High School Credit.
Optional Activities include:
Band - Pipes & Drums (Provincial Competition available)
Flag Party
Honour Guard
Range (Provincial Competition available)
Effective Speaking/Debate Team (Provincial Competition available)
Drill Team (Provincial Competition available)
Aerospace - only facility in Canada that offers such a program! If your son/daughter is interested in becoming an 822 Air Cadet, or if you have any questions please contact Lieutenant Brian Wilson via the phone number on this page, reply to this post, or better yet, come visit us on any Wednesday night (except holidays!) between 6:30-9:30pm starting 5 SEPT 2018!
The worst thing I hear graduated Air Cadets say is that they didn't join soon enough!
Cadets offers military based training in drill, dress, and deportment. Cadets is supervised by seasoned Canadian Forces Reserve Officers and volunteers. Many of our volunteers specialize in areas of aviation and aerospace studies.
We're located at the Cadet Youth Development Centre, at the Waterloo International Airport off of Fountrain St N, Breslau, ON. Upon entering the Airport, we are located in the second building to the left.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL MEETINGS ARE CANCELLED AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID CONCERNS.
Regular meetings of the Central Nova Coin Club are scheduled for 7 PM on the first Monday of each month throughout the year. Meetings are held in the large meeting space at the Truro Recreation Department Building (former Douglas Street School), 40 Douglas Street in Truro. Visitors are welcome.
There will be a short business meeting to deal with club activities, followed by an informational program on some aspect of numismatics. Then there will a mini auction of coins, tokens or paper currency brought in by members. Visitors are welcome to participate. Payment by cash only please. Department of Health Covid protocols will be in effect requiring masks and social distancing.
There will be club members present at the meeting who are knowledgeable and happy to appraise old coins, tokens and paper currency, and provide a free estimate of their value. You should always know the value of your collectable items before you part with them. It is always wise to obtain an appraisal from a professional numismatist or a collector you know and trust.
Always beware of the outfits with fancy advertising that flit into town on a weekend and only pay a very small percentage of what a coin is actually worth. We have heard the horror stories of people who have been ripped off. DO NOT BECOME VICTIM OF AN UNSCRUPULOUS BUYER BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF YOUR COIN.
CLUB TIP : -Never, NEVER clean or polish old coins; it will ruin the collectable value.
Anyone with an interest in coin, token or paper currency collecting is welcome to attend one of our meetings. Perhaps you will be interested in joining this popular hobby group. Just show up, or if you wish more information please use this contact message or google Central Nova Coin Club or check out our club Facebook page.
