I am an experienced high school English Language Arts: thirteen years teaching the 10-1 to 30-1 Alberta curriculum and two years teaching the IB Literature course. My students received excellent results in both the Diploma and IB exams. I am qualified and experienced in teaching and giving individual feedback for the various types of writing/evaluation for both courses: the critical analytical response to text and the personal response to text as well as the IB papers 1 & 2, the HL essay and the individual oral component. I marked the written component of the Diploma exam several times. Many graduate students have expressed gratitude for preparing them to write university-level essays. I also can help with strategies to improve the reading comprehension requirements for Part B of the Diploma exam and provide extra practice. Furthermore, I taught grade 9 ELA for many years and can provide tutoring for the grade 9 PAT exam (written and reading comprehension).

Hello I am Pierre Hobson Artistic Director and Dance teacher at KlaXson. No music or dance back ground is needed to do Tap dancing classes but they are a plus, and all age groups are welcome. It is up to the individuals to decide whether the class it suited for them. Tap Dance is a great workout so come dressed lightly or with attire you would use to exercise.
Classes last two hours with a 5 – 10 minute break and have an average of 10 students per class with a set limit of 15. Each class offers one hour technique and one hour choreography and uses all kinds of music ranging from classical to heavy metal. Classes are taught in both French and English. For those interested there are major productions every two years in addition to performing at different events as the production date gets closer. Students can also receive professional training in these classes.
The new session begins in the week of January 8th and ends in the week of March 25th lasting 12 weeks. Beginner classes will be held on Mondays 8pm starting January 8th. Classes cost 23$ for a total of 276$ for the 12 week session. Payments are made in cash or by e-transfer or pre-registrations prior to your first class. Anyone who registers late or misses classes may make up their classes within the session (i.e. a student who misses four classes can if they choose come in one week and take four classes. They may spread out their make up classes as they wish). Private classes are available at 50$/hour. Semi-private classes are 60$. Information on shoes will be made available in the first class but generally prices range from 80$-150$. Students don’t need to buy tap shoes and are not rushed to do so. In the meantime students can bring a regular leather soled shoe or anything that does no grip to the floor (i.e. running shoe).

Once inside the building you go downstairs and down any of the two corridors and you will come across the studio automatically. Working at height remains one of the biggest causes of fatalities and major injuries. Common cases include falls from roofs, ladders, and through fragile surfaces. ‘Work at height’ means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury (for example a fall through a fragile roof down an unprotected lift shaft, stairwells).

Hello everyone!
Welcome to Safety Swimming.
I am teaching private swimming lessons in my apartment pool. It is an indoor heated pool. Length is 25 meters long. The pool starts off shallow (3 feet, 3 inches) then progressively gets deeper (8 feet, 6 inches) closer to the ladder in the deep end. There is a bathroom, showers and a place to lock up your valuables. The pool is very quite and kept clean on the daily.
I have been teaching swimming lessons for 8 years straight and it is my passion. I love working with all ages and helping improve confidence and strokes in the water.
I have been teaching private swimming lessons now for 6 years, I have also taught competitive swimming lessons in group settings.
I am a paramedic and have my paramedic license.
I am also a yoga and fitness instructor.
I have lots of knowledge about the body and how to perform proper technique.
I have my Basic Life Support which includes CPR.
My Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard is up to date.
