Weight loss accountability partner
Description
Female (40+) looking for a weight loss accountability partner (preferably also female). I have no interest in meeting in person, but looking for someone who wants to "meet" regularly over a text or email to discuss how we did each day in our personal weight loss goals. Discussion can be about anything - maybe some recipes, things that we find work for us (or don't work), our exercise plan for the day and if we achieved it, if we had a good day food wise or not and what triggered it etc. etc. We can even maybe do a weekly weigh in and just say if we have gained or lost anything for the week (don't even have to give a starting or ending weight just "gained 2 pounds" or lost 6 pounds this week" kind of thing). I find that having to tell someone how I did in a day works a lot more than just having a journal or telling my spouse. Fortunately (or unfortunately I guess) my spouse accepts me unconditionally and will help me make up reasons why I can't seem to achieve my weight loss goals.
Not looking to trade too many personal details or pictures or anything like that at all. We can share as much info about ourselves as we want without expectation from the other person. Don't want to set something up with a friend or family member because I see them all the time and I'm looking for a venue that I can express frustration with myself in an honest way without worrying about judgement from a person that knows me in real life. Also, I don't want someone who will make excuses for me or let me off the hook for things because they don't want to hurt my feelings.
Not sure if this will even reach anyone. But thought I would see if anyone else is interested.
