Community Clothing Assistance (CCA) is looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who can spare some time to help those in need in Thunder Bay. Volunteering is a great way to support an important cause.
Volunteers play a vital role in the charity's team by helping with sorting, cleaning, organizing, stocking, or hanging. Volunteering with Community Clothing Assistance can help you build your resume, learn new skills, make new connections, give back to the community, and provide support to those in need.
CCA has numerous opportunities available, and we are always looking for new volunteers to join its team. Offering training, on-site support, great perks, store credits, and volunteer reference opportunities upon request.
Volunteers are invaluable members of CCA's team, helping us to deliver essential services. Volunteering with CCA is a truly rewarding experience! The charity also offers a flexible schedule for students who need to complete volunteer hours as part of their graduation requirements.
Flexible volunteer shifts are available from Monday to Friday between 11 am to 5 pm.

Mon besoin d'autonomie est en souffrance, je vis un besoin de support financier pour remplacer mes 2 batteries au gel de chaise roulante motorisée.
J'utilise un fauteuil roulant pour me deplacer comme aller a l'epicerie, a la piscine , prendre le transport en commun et aller a mes rendez vous medicaux.Les batteries qui sont dans mon fauteuil roulant électrique sont en fin de vie. Je les ai étirées jusqu'au bout et en ai bien pris soin mais la vraiment je ne peux plus fonctionner avec elles. Je tombe souvent en panne sur mon trajet du retour chez moi ca ne peut plus durer.
Je ne peux plus etirer la vie de ces batteries la davantage.
Je n'ai pas de revenu de travail et je ne recois pas d aide du gouvernement pour les batteries de mon fauteuil roulant. Est ce que quelqu'un a l'elan de m'aider avec ce probleme?On peut se remcontrer pour en parler ou ca peut meme etre fait anonymement si vous ne desirez pas que je connaisse votre nom.

I find it can be hard to make friends as an adult, especially when you are introverted. The process can be a little awkward and I’m sure I won’t be doing it any favours with the following choppy message but here goes: I enjoy writing, nerdy SCI FI, horror, comedy, indie movies, pottery, history, yoga, video games, travelling.. and the list can go on and on but I think that’s probably enough for now!
I would like to think of myself as empathetic, and a good listener. I’m awkward at times with a somewhat dry sense of humour.
