Cette année encore aura lieu notre méga-vente de garage communautaire dans le stationnement de l'église de St-Louis-de-France. Tous les profits de la location serviront à l'achat de denrées alimentaires offertes chaque jeudi. C'est le moment de réserver vos tables! L'an passé, une cinquantaine de tables ont été réservées et nous nous attendons à un nombre encore plus élevé cette année. Cet événement aura lieu dans le parking de l'Église de Saint-Louis-de-France le samedi 18 mai, de 9h00 à 15h30. Le prix est de 15$ par table. Nous ne louons pas des emplacements mais bien des tables. Vous pouvez apporter les vôtres mais vous devrez tout de même payer 15$ pour chaque table installée. Si vous prenez 5 tables ou plus, chaque table vous revient à 10$ la table. La Friperie remettra également une partie de ses profits à l'Aide Alimentaire (organisme Grand-Coeur). Pour louer une table vous pouvez me laisser un message en privé, nous appeler ou encore vous présentez le jeudi matin à la sacristie de l'église de St-Louis entre 8h30 et 10h15. Hi, I’m Deanna And I love senior citizens and inspiring conversations and wise interactions with them. I am very aware that loneliness is a killer in my compassionate training. I teach people 22 ways to be happy for no reason. A big role for fulfilling happiness for me is helping others.
I’m a coach, Author and teacher. My mom has Alzheimer’s and I miss the conversations I had with her dearly right now because she do not know who I am. I miss her wisdom that she shared with me open heartedly. I do realize loneliness is a killer and there’s a lot of people out there that are suffering from loneliness, so now I’ve expanded my business to just meeting elders who would just like someone to talk to have a cuppa tea with or even play a game of cards if they have that mental capacity. Not only that, I have my own car I can take them for a drive or go shopping if they are physically capable. I will do things that your family always want to do but do not have have time to do because they have work or other obligations, like childcare or travel schedules.
As of now I am doing this as a volunteer, or even for a small donation would be appreciated, but not necessary. I just want to connect with the wise, beautiful, senior citizens that are out there that are experiencing loneliness. Maybe we can build something special together and I can expand my business this way but for now I would just like to reach them and see how this goes. This is just something that’s in my heart and soul as I’ve dedicated my life to helping people build relationships, find happiness, and heal from past wounds for I’ve been there.
