The Keppoch Shores Recording Studio is centrally located in Stratford and is well equipped for most any recording project. The musical centrepiece of the studio is the Steinway “B” Grand Piano. We are the only recording studio on PEI with a grand piano, and it’s a STEINWAY! The studio features top of the line preamps by Avalon, Neve & Phoenix Audio, Dangerous monitoring, and the Hear Technologies Hear Back System. The MAC recording platform is paired with PRO-TOOLS HD (16 channel I/O) and is loaded with some of the finest plugins by SLATE DIGITAL, SONNOX, ISOTOPE, and WAVES. MELODYNE is here to help smooth your vocals. We have OMNISPHERE 2 for great synth patches, and the complete VIENNA SYMPHONIC CUBE for more complex arrangements.
The expanded live room has been fully tested and acoustically treated and is capable of many configurations. Piano trio (piano, bass, drums), or any combination of electric instruments is doable. There is vocal or guitar/bass amp isolation available. Acoustic guitar sounds amazing in the room!
The studio has a great collection of microphones for any application. The flagship Telefunken ELA-251 M has an incredible sonic presence and is known as “THE VOCAL MIC”. Then there is the Neumann U-87 ai that sounds great on anything. The Neumann TLM 103 and two Neumann KM-184's are all fine microphones. Two vintage (1970's) Sennheiser MD 421s, the AKG 112 D, and the usual Shure SM57s all sound great on the drum kit.

We are a group and we exchange services with each others. The BECS group is a network of members who exchange services between them on a one-hour to one-hour basis in the greater Montreal.
BECS means Banque d'échanges communautaire de services.
It includes many services from health, beauty, computer services, assisting people, personal growth consultation, cooking workshop, cooked meals, sewing service, office automation service, text correction/translation, babysitting and much more ! The more members we are, the greater the diversity of services.

Nous sommes un réseau de membres qui échangent des services et des biens entre eux plus de 25 ans. BECS valorise l'individu, ses savoirs et ses expériences.Nous sommes déjà quelques membres dans le West Island qui échangeons des services fabuleux. C’est merveilleux d’avoir un réseau d’entraide.

Les services à l'intérieur du groupe ont tous la même valeur (une heure de l’un vaut une heure de l’autre) et la recherche de profit y est interdite. Plus d’une centaine de membres qui croient à l'entraide s'échangent plus de mille heures de services chaque année.
On y trouve de tout ou presque : services de santé / beauté, informatique, croissance personnelle, ateliers de cuisine, plats cuisinés, couture, bureautique, correction de texte, traduction, accompagnement de personnes / transport, gardiennage et plus encore ! Plus il y a de membres, plus la diversité des services augmente.
Moderne par ses moyens de communication (site web et réseaux sociaux), BECS offre à ses membres plusieurs rencontres annuelles afin de leur permettre de tisser des liens.

Are you a very strong (lead) vocalist? Do you love high energy classic rock? Do you love to get out and play in front of an audience for fun? If so, read on...
Gigging cover band (no originals, no recording) – live performance focus. Music type is very high energy rock/rock n’roll 60’s to 80’s mostly. Current players are working business professionals so while this is a hobby for us, it is taken very seriously and you would have to have the same attitude, ability and work ethic as the group. In short, we are looking for a rare, very high end performer who has all the requirements. So here are the requirements:
• Right working attitude; enthusiastic, cooperative, positive, good communicator
• At least 19 years of age but must be stable and mature
• Have the time for learning new material (we constantly add new songs), practice on your own, attending practices, attending gigs
• Dedicated focus: this would become your only gigging band as there can be no conflict consideration in scheduling gigs; must be open to gig scheduling a very high proportion of the time
• Excellent lead vocal & harmony ability – very strong preference for someone who additionally can also do one of the following, in order of preference: (1) solid or better bass guitar skills (2) solid or better rhythm guitar skills or (3) solid or better MIDI programming/ keyboard (synth) skills. Solid means experience performing complex pieces, in front of an audience with great skill and dependable delivery. “Frontman” presentation is important. Our lead guitar currently sings about half the songs, with the expectation for you to sing the remaining half and provide backup/harmony vocals when not on lead duty
• Support from spouse/family and work situation; only you can determine this but you’re going to need it – budget 5 to 10 hrs per week not including gigs
• A sense of humour; we work hard and take what we do seriously when we are together but we have fun doing it
• Significant gigging experience; our entire focus is high energy gigging (plan up to 3 gigs per month, throughout the year)
• Most gigs will be in HRM but some will be out-of-town (overnight stay) – must be OK for such gigs
• Pro gear and reliable transportation
• Neat tidy appearance and professional behaviour; must suit the group – we are a non-smoking, non-drinking and no dope outfitPlease note there will be an interview and audition process requiring you to demonstrate your abilities and suitability (separate auditions may be arranged for the vocals and instrumentation if that is preferred). This will include learning a bit of material (potentially new-to-you) before anyone would be selected for the slot. Regularly scheduled (standing) practice sessions are in Fall River.

- Once a Day (Connie Smith, etc)
I need your service and to discuss your fees with u.
I need you to provide guitar accompaniment for me while i sing these songs during video recording.
