Paul LaPorte is the owner of Ephemeral Ark Nursery (specializing in native woodland species) and consultant on ecological gardening and design. Living in the Greenbelt of the GTA, he has taken the opportunity to steward and study numerous native plant communities within multiple ecotypes and varied microclimates. Paul maintains a strong knowledge of Ontario native plant species and their communities and fosters them in his own gardens.

(wow) These camps are made for kids who absolutely love horses. Experience is not necessary, but the attitude to learn all things horsey and have fun while doing it is definitely a requirement! Fire Fly's location is between Cambridge and Hamilton, minutes from Flamborough. Drop off times are 8am-4pm.

Hi , been drumming for 5 years kind of a new drummer in a middle aged guys body . Played two shows with a band in my first year and jammed with some others out west but since moving this way I’ve found zero people to jam with and a zillion drummers if you’d like to get together weekly or as often as possible I’d be into jamming with some other average players . 55, tattoo artist so make my own schedule. I have jam space out this way but am also willing to travel . Types of music ?? Goes anywhere from psychobilly/ horror punk to reggae, ska, classic rock, Oi! Just really not groovin on country . It breaks my heart to ask this but is there anyone in the Parry Sound/Mactier area who would be willing to foster a 2 1/2 yr old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix? I was living in Nobel but due to unforseen circumstances, I had to relocate to Barrie. Oliver is miserable here. He has gained so much weight, doesn't want to play, and is just not himself. We have been in an apartment for the winter and it's just taking the life out of him. I am currently working in Mactier at a golf resort and want to save up to move back to the area. I am just as miserable in Barrie. I do not want to lose Oliver. He's my whole world. He's such a sweet boy and extremely smart but since being cooped up in an apartment for the last 6 months, his temperament has changed. Hes just over 2 yrs old and looks like hes 10-11. I'm looking for someone who has land for him to run. He needs proper excersize and until I can find a place up there, he's stuck in the apartment while I'm at work. 8 hr shifts plus an hour each way for the commute is extremely unfair and bordering cruel to him. I will pay for his food and anything he needs. If someone can be please help me I would be forever grateful. I don't want to lose him. I'm the stubborn type that never asks for help but I'm putting my pride aside because I want Oliver to be the dog he's supposed to be. He's used to having all this space to roam and be free. This is slowly killing him. I just need some time to save up and move. So I'm begging, can someone please help me?

Hi everyone,
We use a lot of wood chips at our Muskoka farm, to cover crops and our trails. I'm either looking for someone with a tonne of woodchips or someone willing to rent us a 7" chipper for a few weeks in the Spring. We have a few acres of black alder to chip, no bigger than 4" width. The rental shops want $1100 to rent one for 5 days and I think thats way too much. We're a young family trying to make our way, help is appreciated

Bonjour à tous, j'aimerais parti un band qui rend hommage à l'époque 80 dans le style du hard rock comme Def Leppard, bon Jovi, Motley crue, Poison, Whitesnake, Scorpion, ZZ Top, etc
Mais j'aimerais que les gens viennent de st-jean le plus possible et de niveau intermédiaire question de pas passer 2 mois sur la même toune. Pour le plaisir mais j'aime le travail bien fait, si il y a un opportunité de show on la prend sinon on jam des bonnes vieilles tounes. Moi, je suis bassiste et claviériste, fait des back vocal aussi, bien équippé. Je cherche pas de débutant. L'age n'as pas d'importance en tant que tu fasses comme faut ta partie de tounes. Pour le vocal, que ça soit Féminin me dérange pas pantoute mais pour un gars, il se doit de chanter haut.
Aussi, si tu es un drummer qui travail avec des séquences ca serait top niveau. Bref, pas de pression, du gros fun et p-e des shows

Bassiste (je peux chanter, guitare, clavier) cherche des musiciens pour tranquillement monter un répertoire prog (pas que prog mais disons majoritairement prog). Aucune aspiration à faire la tournée des bars mais bien ouvert pour se produire 1-2 fois par année le temps venu, si nous sommes présentables !
Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Krimson, Rush, Gentle Giant, Dream Theatre, Marillion, Opeth, etc… Le but premier et de s’amuser en faisant les choses avec un minimum sérieux.
