Hi there..I rescue/ take in birds from time to time who need a new home .This is how each of my birds have received their new loving EXPERIENCED home and we have had them for years. I have Goffin cockatoo in which Id love to get a friend more her size or bigger as she is super loving and gentle but makes me nervous when she tries to cuddle up.with my conure .. I am an experienced bird person..(not professional) but have owned and loved birds my whole life of many different kinds.I do not breed I don't agree with that so please no inquiries looking for a breeding partner..I have a large 4 bedroom house...my second livingroom is my bird room.its large with high ceilings and surrounded in big windows they love to look out! I offer fresh fruits and veggies daily with a balanced pellet diet and nuts and nutriberries for treats! My husband,kids and I take the birds out for walks and to hang outside with us.. we do not lock them in their cages..they are free to roam and be with us 24/7..if you have a large parrot in need of new forever home I would love to adopt it and make it part of our family!

Do not contact if not ready to spend a few hours a day with conure, if cannot provide conure with adequate sleep (10-12 hours), cannot provide good diet, and if cannot handle situations of biting with patience and no anger because birds only bite when threatened, in an uncomfortable situation, or when they don't like something. This poor conure was in a household with poor caretakers. If you are a serious caretaker who will treat this bird with love and patience, please contact and answer a few short questions about how you will deal with the bird in certain situations.

Meet Beau! She is just 2 years old this month. She is a hand trained cockatiel. She is very affectionate (rubs her head into your face, snuggles, loves head rubs and scratches). She loves to walk around the house on your shoulder and come out to play whenever she can.
I met her and picked her out myself when she was just a baby. She is a very sweet girl and bonds very well with people.
I take her to exotic wings and pet things in Welsley to get her nails and wings trimmed every couple of months. She is on an African parakeet seed diet from exotic wings and pet things. I have tried switching her to pellet but she never took to it. She always has a mineral block and cuttle bone in her cage as well.
She will be sold with all of her things. Her cage, all of her toys, any food I have as well as information on how to care for her as well as contact information for exotic wings and pet things.
Beau is really an amazing addition to the family and I am heartbroken to see her go. I would only like her to go with a family or person who has experience with cockatiels and who I know will take wonderful care of her and give her all the love and attention she deserves.

Rehoming through no fault of his own,lovely boy who is a real family bird. Takes to most people instantly, he can say a few words but is still young and learning. Eats really well but prefers fresh food over seed/nuts. I have a wonderful Pineapple Conure that I need to rehome for no other reason that it was my son's and the Conure ("Rookie") didn't bond with him.
Rookie was purchased at Exotic Wings & Things in St. Clements as a baby and has all of the necessary papers and is tagged. We don't know if Rookie is a he or she and according to the experts, can be either based on her/his behavior.
Rookie is however fully bonded to a budgie we rescued and shares a cage with him. We would like them to remain together. As for the budgie, we believe it's a he based on it's beak color and do not know the age.
Both are relatively quiet if given the proper amount of attention which we normally take Rookie out twice a day. Rookie's flight feathers have always been clipped but not the budgie's. The budgie is trained however to fly back into the cage when we want it to.
