We are currently looking to rehome our sweet 1.5 year old male Abyssinian guinea pig. We are struggling to find the time to spend with him, and feel it is very unfair to him. This decision was not made lightly, as we truly believe pets are family. But with so much life left to live, we would love him to have the attention and care he truly deserves. Hi Everyone, it is so nice to meet you! I want to start by introducing myself; my name is Rupert. I have lived my entire life as a single pig, however, I would like to try and make friends (maybe even a girlfriend). My favorite snack is hay! As soon as I see the bag at feeding time, I begin to wheek. My favorite treats are vitamin C cookies which my mom and dad give to me every night before bed. I love anything soft - blankets, my piggie couch, and even mom's sweater pockets. When I'm not busy wheeking for hay or snuggling on my couch, I like to popcorn around my cage. I will be sad to say goodbye to my mom and dad, however, I am excited to find a new family that has more time for me.
Note: Rupert will come with his cage, cage liners, blankets, pop-up play pen, remaining food, treats, and hay at the discretion of the new owner. This can be discussed and negotiated. A rehoming fee will apply.
