Meet Cody- he is a lovely 3 year old small breed (25lbs) mixed terrier. He is very affectionate, good with children, cats and other dogs. He can be timid but has a loving personality once he warms up. Other than these mostly normal dog quirks he is a wonderful house pet and would make a great companion for another dog, or a great addition to a family. He is crate trained, and fully up to date on his vaccinations and neutered. He would benefit from some additional training with recall, leash training, manners etc. We have chosen to rehome Cody as our other dog requires a lot of attention and he is not getting the attention he deserves as a result. We would love for him to be adopted to a home where he can still interact with his current dog mate on play dates. We will be selective and will select his home based on suitability. Winnie (mom) is genetically tested (clear) and also went through extensive testing to be certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). The father of these puppies, Barley, lives in Whitehorse and was raised through the breeding program.

We have two Alaskan Malamute females for sale. Both love people and are amazing with any age! One is high energy and needs a good amount of exercise. You’ve seen orange goldfish, red goldfish, and maybe even calico goldfish, but have you ever seen a black goldfish? Black moor goldfish can make a bold and beautiful contrast with more commonly-colored goldfish but are just as peaceful and require the same care as most other goldfish varieties.

Black Moor Goldfish
Name
Black moor goldfish is a type of fancy goldfish (Carassius auratus); fancy goldfish are ‘fancy’ because they feature some type of outstanding feature: these fish may be more rounder than regular goldfish, have flowier fins and telescope eyes, or other body modifications and specialized markings.Black moor goldfish may also be referred to as black telescope goldfish, moors, black moors, or blackamoors. Interestingly, it is believed that this fish was named after a specific group of people from the Middle Ages.
Natural Habitat
Black moors do not exist in the wild and are the product of many generations of selective fish breeding. These fish are derived from a wild carp species known as the Prussian carp, which can now be found throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. It is believed that the first carp fish were caught around parts of China during the 1400s.Identification
The black moor goldfish is pretty easy to identify from among other types of goldfish! All you have to do is look for a fish that has a black body and two telescope eyes. Some may have some orange or gold on their bellies, but for the most part, these fish are almost completely black.In general, black moors can grow to 6-8 inches (15-20 cm); however, as with all goldfish, it is always possible that your fish will easily surpass these estimations. They will also grow very round and will take on an egg-shape, which will slow down their movements through the water. Their bulging large eyes also means that they have poor eyesight, but black moors actually have less-protruding eyes than normal so eye infections are less common.
How long do black moor goldfish live?
Black moors will live just as long as any other type of goldfish, with the likelihood of reaching 10-15 years and 20 with exceptional water quality and tank maintenance.

Black moor tank requirements
Like other goldfish varieties, black moors make a lot of waste and can dirty tank water very quickly. For one black moor goldfish, the minimal tank size recommended is 20 gallons (76 L), with 30 gallons (113.5 L) being even better. Every additional fish will also need an extra 10 gallons (38 L).Since these fish are not the best swimmers, it is also recommended to get a long tank as opposed to a tall tank. A tall tank may make it difficult for your black moor to swim to the surface to eat, and a long tank will give your fish more overall swimming space!
It is also not recommended to add too much decoration to the tank for the same reason. Your black moor may be struggling enough to swim on its own and added obstacles won’t make it much better! If you really want to add plants in your tank, either real or fake, make sure to place them towards the back and keep them pruned to leave the main swimming area open for your fish.
Water parameters
Goldfish are a coldwater species of fish, so an aquarium heater is not required for your black moor. Water temperature should remain between 65-72° F (18-22° C) with pH between 6.0-8.0. Ammonia is the most important water value to keep at 0 ppm and can be challenging to maintain since goldfish create so much waste; however, any trace of ammonia in the water is toxic and will hurt or kill your fish.
In order to control waste from building up, weekly water changes are a must. Remove 25-30% of the water from your tank at the same time every week, and replace it with new RODI/distilled water. Gravel should also be regularly vacuumed during water changes to remove any stuck particles.
Ammonia can also be maintained through a good filter. In general, it is recommended to get an aquarium filter that is meant for two times the suggested tank size; so for a 20 gallon (76 L) tank, a filter rated for 40 gallons (151 L) is recommended. While you can’t go too big with a filter, you can get too much water flow in your tank.
Remember, black moors are not very good swimmers, so make sure your fish are not getting pushed around by strong water current in your tank.
Black moor tankmates
Black moors should be kept with other peaceful and slow-moving tank mates. Fin-nippers and more active fish will stress out your black moor and can cause fin rot and other infections if not monitored.
Good tankmates would be other calm fancy goldfish types like fantail goldfish, lionhead goldfish, or other telescope goldfish.
Black moor diet
Like all goldfish, black moors are omnivorous fish. This means that you should offer your fish a balanced diet of plant- and animal-based foods. You may also find your black moor nibbling at some algae that you might have in your tank, though they should never be used to control any algae problems.
If feeding fish flakes, make sure they are specifically made for fancy goldfish. Round-bodied goldfish, like the black moor, are prone to swimbladder issues and a good high-quality fancy goldfish food can help prevent digestive problems. Fish flakes should also be supplemented with frozen and freeze-dried foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, and tubifex worms.
Freeze-dried foods should always be presoaked in some tank water before feeding your black moor; this will help your fish digest the food and should help further prevent them from constipated.Black Moor Goldfish
Conclusion
Black moor goldfish are relatively easy to keep if you have experience with goldfish; they don’t require as much space as other varieties of goldfish and don’t tend to get that big. However, like other goldfish, a black moor will create just as much waste.
As long as you don’t add more fish than your aquarium and filtration can handle, then the docile and beautiful black moor goldfish may be the next fish for you!

J'ai récupéré deux youyou dont leur maître est décédé donc je ne connais pas leur age. Malheureusement, même après beaucoup de travaille, ils ne s'entende pas asser bien avec ma conure. Je ne peux pas les garders. Jade (la plus jaune des deux) adore se fair flatter et avoir de l'attention. Onyx (le plus orangé) il est peureux mais devien un amour quand il apprend a te fair confiance. Les deux adore les fruit et legumes et les sorties de la cage
Je laisse partir avec eux leur cage deux étages et tout les jouets qui sont a l'intérieur (sauf les cabanes en tissue elles ne sont pas a moi). Je peux au besoin laisser un peux de nourriture.

Ils me reste 2 beaux mâle Touis Catherines nourris à la main qui sont à la recherche d’une famille. Les 2 sont très gentils. Dans leur cage, sur ou bien dans le parc d’amusement, mes 2 cocos on tendance à se sauver de notre main quand on l’approche mais une fois sur notre doigt, ils font up d’un doigt à l’autre sans problème, se laissent flatter et donner des bisous. Ils partirons avec un petit sac de nourriture et gâterie. Certificat d'éclosion et d'autres documents sont inclus. Je prend les réservation avec dépôt seulement.

He is the combination of my 4 favorite non shedding, hypoallergenic breeds and is a bundle of pure joy. Mom is a chocolate and white Havapoo ( Havanese x poodle) at just under 7 pounds mom is petite and athletic, loving and cuddly. Dad is cream Morkie ( he is 3/4 maltese 1/4 yorkie) 7 pounds. He is an adorable Teddybear who loves to play as much as he loves to cuddle. He is my little shadow who loves to strut his stuff. The pups are black with white and will come vet checked, first and second vaccination and deworming. At 12 weeks he is just 4 Lbs. He is such a wonderful little guy and we are looking for some one who will love and cherish him as much as we do.
Male vs Female, we have three males (including this male Pup) and 3 females, from our experience there is not much difference between male and females
Temperament; Same Affectionate; same Housebreaking; the boys have been quicker to pick this up Marking; same, everyone taught to go outside, the girls mark territory outside as much as boys Leg lifting; dominate of both sexes will lift their leg. Humping each other; girls do this as much as boys we discourage both unless breeding. Playfulness; same Size; in small breeds not significant, unlike large breeds were the males are usually larger. The biggest difference is how you pick them up, girl under belly and chest, boy under bottom and chest to avoid where they urinate from :), I pick up the same one hand under chest the other supporting feet. Grooming; both require sanitary trim and boys can have top knot, I like to give the boys Viking braids for a more masculine look ;p

Our pups come from very healthy stock, as we have two generations living with us we have been fortunate to have owned and breed these beautiful little dogs for many years. I have been breeding dogs since 1991 having bred, raised and show champion dogs and have sold pups through out Canada, USA and Europe. When we got into the small breeds as we wanted a loving companion breed that was non shedding, small enough to go wherever we went. We had to have breeds that were great with people from small children to seniors. We absolutely love how gentle our pups are, they are full of joy and so much fun. We do not ship our pups, buyers must pick up. We accept cash payments only. The pups do well as apartment dogs but still require regular exercise. To maintain a full coat like Dad requires daily brushing and weekly baths, we prefer mom and grandma in a shorter poodle cut which is easier to maintain but still requires weekly grooming and a bath every 3 to 4 weeks (depending on their outdoor activity) the shorter cut does require regular visit to a professional groomer. Please note we do not believe in tail docking or declaw removal, we keep our pups natural. These pups do great as therapy and emotional support dogs, Grandma just loves to go to nursing homes and ride on wheelchairs and hop into bed with the residents to cuddle and bring them love, laughter and joy.
