Really quiet registered lowline bull. Stands around for scratches but not halter broke.
Measures around 44-46 inches would weigh about 1000-1050 lbs. Never left an open cow for us. Only selling because we kept too many daughters. Most are 40-43inch heifers. Steers weighed up nice and bulky, typical butcher live 900lbs at 20 months.

Phoenix is a 14 year old unregistered Appendix gelding standing at approximately 16 hands. I have owned him since he was 3, and found myself unable to give him the time he deserves. He will only be going to an approved home as I am in no rush to sell.
Phoenix has all the fundamentals go in the direction of being a good ranch horse, provided he gets more confidence building and exposure to cattle and movement to go into low level dressage or western dressage.
Broke walk trot canter, he has a solid understanding of body control both on the ground and under saddle (leg, forequarter, and hindquarter yields) and has carried this knowledge regardless of what tack he is in or bareback. He is a quick learner and active thinker with his person, and with consistency and a confident handler he would be an excellent partner.
Phoenix has comfortably been ridden out alone or in a group by intermediate and experienced riders and has also been ridden and handled by beginners with supervision. No buck, bolt, or bite! He lines himself up to the mounting block/fence/whatever you’re on for an easy mounting experience and has even been ridden with only a neck rope in a controlled setting when he’s been in consistent work.
He is good for all maintenance, deworming, bodywork and trimming. He has always been kept in a mixed herd and does best living outside year-round. Phoenix has been exposed to a variety of different equipment and small farm animals that we have at our acreage (dogs, cats, ducks & chickens) as well as wildlife.
Phoenix does require some schooling to bring him up to date as I have used him infrequently within the last few years. At present, he can be impatient being tied or stalled and sometimes walks off after the rider mounts, which is easily corrected. With consistent work these behaviors do lessen. He also does not love being sweaty and loves to roll- a behavior which has been easy to correct on long summer rides.
Phoenix is a special horse who has a good amount of work ethic that would best with a confident and experienced handler who can build his confidence (should they want to work livestock) and really allow him the consistency he needs to shine. Well broke 2010 Dun AQHA mare for sale. She was shown in the Manitoba 50/50, and shown in open shows in Saskatchewan. Used in 4-H, has been in a couple jumping clinics, trail rides, been used at the feedlot and as a back up horse in the community pasture this past summer. Nice walk, trot and lope. Pleasure gears and speedier gears when needed. Has flying lead changes and does well thru trail obstacles. Not spooky.
She is not for a timid rider as she is smart and will try to get away with things. She is gritty and likes a job. She will work all day for you without trying to quit you. She enjoys moving and working cows. She has even loped the barrel pattern.
Stands well for blanketing, farrier and bathing. Okay with clippers except for ears. Loads and ties well.
I have torn the ligaments in my knee and can’t ride for awhile. Once I am healed up, it will time to start some younger prospects so she needs to go to a home where she can be used .
Most recent photos are from a horsemanship and cow work clinic in January. She had been turned out since September and caught for the clinic. (Have a couple videos from them too). 14.2 HH.

Cleo is a female purebred red wheaton Rhodesian Ridgeback. We imported her from Texas. She is 4 years old and is dual registered with AKC and CKC. Cleo is nervous around anything novel, she can be reserved, she loves her daily runs and playing with other dogs. She has very little obedience training but is very smart and learns quickly. We have a cat in the house that Cleo does not bother, we don't have any outdoor cats....but I can tell you that Cleo runs with very small dogs(such as min. poodles and pomeranians) and she doesn't chase them. Cleo's Sire is from Africa. She is microchipped. Cleo has been tested for DM among many other tests and are cleared of all, she is a very healthy and energetic girl. Cleo was part of our breeding program. Due to certain circumstances we have decided to place Cleo and her male partner in new loving forever homes. The male has found his new home. Milo is a 2ish yr old fixed male German Shepherd. We have had him for 3 months and have really grown to love him but he hasn’t learned to stay home well enough for us to be able to keep him. It is with heavy hearts we need to find a new home for our female Siberian Husky Molly. She's 5.5 years old, born July 19, 2018 and has been spayed. She doesn't like our toddler being around her or poking at her and we've tried training her but it's just not working out. She is great with our older kids. A home with no kids or older kids would be the best fit for her. She's cuddly and loves a soft blanket to curl up on. She's crate trained and it's necessary for her to use as she's very much the breed stereotype. She will run away given any chance so a fully fenced yard is needed and she wouldn't do well on an acreage. She has been raised with dogs and cats and does well with both, she will however chase and pounce on cats if they run. Her prey drive is still very high. She is very food motivated and knows a few tricks. Price negotiable for the right home.. She will come with all of her belongings including a wire crate and a plastic kennel.
